This guy gets it.

I just read the always sunny topic on the television board and was surprised at the negative feedback this received. Seems like the majority of users hated it, with many calling it the worst episode. Main complaint being "this is too sappy for a comedy show, makes no sense." But to me, that was kind of the point.

Another of my favorite / most memorable scenes from tv is the simpsons episode where homers mom leaves him again and hes looking up at the stars by himself. Similar situation where a comedy delivered an emotional, unexpected scene i saw as a child that still sticks with me. Like i said before, this season was a let down after a stellar season 12, but for them to bring the entire mac character arc full circle in such a powerful (and daring) way that is rarely seen on tv was remarkable.

His struggle with god (the woman) and the distance that was created between them, along with the part where it seems she is about to "strike him" with her leg, but then embraces him in the end telling him "its okay" repeatedly was, just wow. His judgemental shithead dad leaving midway, and frank being moved to tears, finally "getting" mac's struggle was just great. 13 years of mac's character culminating in a spectacular release, that only frank witnessed. Curious to see what happens next season and whether this is addressed with the rest of the gang.

Holy crap i'm shook! Did not expect that, caught me completely off guard. That seriously may be one of the most powerful scenes / episodes i have ever seen from any show. I don't know if it's just because it was so unexpected coming from a show like this, but wow. That seems emmy worthy. And danny devito's reaction and "i get it" was the perfect touch. Well done rob

The season as a whole was a letdown up to this point, and it appeared to be finally succumbing to staleness, which made me sad because it's one of my favorite shows. Then bam, the last 5 minutes happened. Masterpiece

If youre referring to college fb 12-1 because they probably played actual competition during the season and lost to one of the best teams in the nation in the final, and didn't play in some scrub conference beating cupcakes like the 12-0 team

Im really on the fence about this and its stressing me out lol. From what ive read, the major complaints im hearing are the slow pacing (dont mind it and i feel like the tutorial structure at the start is likely why some people are saying this) the "over realism" being tedious (i actually think ill enjoy that, being a fan of rpgs/ sims and exploring etc)

The one thing im concerned about is if the missions and sidequests become repetitive. It's probably too early for people to answer this, but i found myself getting tired with the original rdr toward the end because the missions were more or less the same, with the shootouts becoming tiresome. Is the gun play pretty much the same or have they changed the mechanics?
