When I watched it when it first came out I admit it went a bit over my head. But watching it recently again I think it was ahead of its time. The moral questions posed are actually kinda deep. The way it uses a lesser known group in DCs universe with no previous setup or introductory movies is cool too.

And dunno if it was intentional or unientional but it essentially serves as an origin story of dr Manhattan as a villain.

The film was incredible, shame the special effects and CGI were lacking, but more to do with the technology available at the time.

Hmmm Ill try the water bottle way.

How would you discourage something specific ie if Ive come home and shes knocked my stuff over. Pulled curtains down etc? Take her to the pulled down curtain and spray her there? Or can you only discipline in the moment?

Im scared shes gonna get more and more scared of me. I hit her when shes doing things like jumping up onto the ironing board when Im ironing, jumping on the stove when Im cooking, jumping on the soundboard shelf with exposed cables etc.

But sometimes when I just walk past her she darts off like shes scared. I dont really remember her doing that when she was a kitten ie before I started telling her off for stuff like that.

Or even when she pulls down the curtains I give her taps on the head. Really dont know how to discourage bad behaviour without making her hate me or be scared of me .__.

The plot itself was actually pretty meh, but yeah Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing job. Better than heath ledger though, I dont think so, Heath ledgers joker just seemed so much more developed, but thats probably cos this is an origin movie and hes Arthur for most of the film and only becomes joker towards the end.
