Yes.
I don't really have a coping mechanism so I deal with a lot of stress & anxiety which obviously leads to depression due to having nobody to talk to.

Not even a little. I ignore sources of stress and stupidity. Have a job I like, plenty of games, 3 cats, no debt, I'm happy with things as they are.

Surprisingly not. Sure I have the moments when I'm down but that's a normal human emotion. What got me was some kind of anxiety issues for reasons.

Been clinically diagnosed a few years back, but nowadays it comes and goes...whether or not its just a case of the blues, sometimes it doesn't feel that way when you're actually going thru it. And that's the hardest part of dealing with this Mental/Mood Disorder

Not sure. I've been generally unhappy since at least middle (I'm 24 now) and frequently think of suicide, but I don't know if there's anything clinically wrong with me or it's just my life and lack of social skills. I live alone and often go days at a time without really talking to another person beyond just greeting coworkers, and there's just nothing I'm really passionate about or skilled at.

I beat my depression when I really, really allowed myself to completely submit to it. Took me a lifetime so far to learn, but I just isolate myself and break down. I'm not proud or ashamed of it, and maybe it's not considered masculine, but I do it privately and it is like the spiritual equivalent of puking up a shit ton of alcohol. Fuck being a macho superman type if it means suppressing happiness. Be authentic to yourself.

You can really begin to feel better really shortly after that if you're genuinely trying to focus on feeling happy. Get imaginative. Have fun. Fuck everything else. If you're bored af, go meditate and reflect until that's boring because everything is relative.

I have been locked in psych wards for depression, despite insisting that I was not depressed for months. That made it worse, because they thought I was delusional too.

Anti-depressants do nothing for me. I really like the withdrawal from anti-depressants, though. It's like living in an dream world.

I probably am depressed, I don't really know.

I wouldn't go through with it anyway. Too worried about the chances of surviving with permanent disabilities.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with Adenoma Hypofisae (tumor below the brain) that resulted in losing all sight in my right eye. Had a surgery to save my remaining eyeball, but found out the tumor couldnt be scooped out entirely due to it latching on to various hormonal glands below the brain. It's not malignant but it keeps growing.

Fast forward to last month, when I was schedulled for a second surgery because the tumor has grown back to 4cm in diameter. I was filled with suicidal thoughts, of ending everything because what use is living with a time bomb in my head. Wasting money, being a pain to everyone around me, getting those pity looks, etc.

I secretly bought and stored a bunch of pills and alcohol near my bedside drawers, in case that surgery take away my last sight. I couldnt even imagine how to live being blind, and OD'd seemed less messy and painful than razors. I even thought of not eating, see if I could starve myself if I become too afraid of ending it all with drugs.

Two weeks after the surgery, my oncologist, neurosurgeon, and family physicians, all said I will have to live like this for the rest of my life. There's no further treatment. Chemo is not advisable since it may ruin my brain, gamma knife or any radiation surgery is a no go since the tumor latches to the glands. I was given a buncha... advise, on how to live healthy, regain my stamina, etc. to prepare for next surgery, probably in 2 years. Every 2 years.

Now I've been living like a zombie. Still going to work and doing my best to achieve targets so I wont be fired, yet keeping socializing to a minimum, if at all. I havent texted let alone talked to my friends much, rejecting their offer to go to spas or pedicures, with excuses such as my doc said I shouldnt. I get my dopamine hits on various tinder matches for one night stands almost every night. I have thoughts of jumping from my office building or drown in the swimming pool.

My life is a mess. Just had to get it out there.
Thanks for reading.
