You say intentions be damned but what's he supposed to do, not go for the ball? It's easy to say in slow motion but all this happened in a split second. No one has the mental acuity to reach for a ball, already be pulling your hand back, find your hand on someone's knee, and be able to go "Oh I should not pull my hand back right now it could hurt this person" in such a short amount of time. It was unfortunate but it was a legitimate basketball play imo.

What exactly hasn't he proved? He made the all star team, his team is an up and coming great team with a bright future...like if you just don't think young guys period deserve a little bit of swag then you do you but let's not act like he hasn't been a beast on an individual level to this point in his career.

The story is a bit tamer than I expected but maybe that's just cause kamigawa was such a gutpunch. I was expecting more stuff with Urabrask but he barely made an appearance if you could call it one.

This is no different than any "controversy" about anything that portrays what some terrible people would classify as "SJW stuff." People complaining about this will complain about any medium that gives representation to sexual preferences they don't agree with.

oh man arby's potato cakes. I didn't get those so much but they were kind of similiar to I think they were like, bacon and cheese stuffed potato cake-like objects? Those were great.

Also the thing that sparked this topic for me was I went to walmart the other day, and they have a hot bar/deli area where you can get a lunch plate for p cheap...or used to. Used to be like 5 bucks for any one meat (chicken mostly of varying styles) and any one side (usually went mashed potatoes or big fat mozz sticks), or 2 sides for $6. I didn't go often but it was nice to have there and it was always great when I did.

Went yesterday and they re-did the meal style so that instead of any meat + side, you pay for the chicken based on what item it is and you have to get the sides separate. So my 6 savory-style wings and a side of mashed taters (which also seemed reduced in size from previous visits) came out to $9. And they never have the mozz sticks anymore either. So I probably won't be getting stuff from there anymore.

Or alternatively, the price goes up enough that you can't justify getting it anymore? Fast food, sit down, w/e. Can also be something that you knew was limited time only but lamented when it went away anyway.

Well, the difference I would think is that in the first example, you still get to do the cheating for a game before you get banned, right? In this new method, players are actively punished that game, and I would imagine that if you create a new acct, you will continue to use cheats, which will then flag you and put you back into this mode again. So it seems like it perpetually punishes cheaters at that moment, rather than after the fact.

So more like
> Player cheats
> can't see anyone
>makes new acct with cheats
> still can't see anyone

I won't hold the max thing against ayton because it's sarver specifically, who is widely reputed as a cheapass owner

I do think, however, that ayton is like right on the line of being a max-worthy player, not a slam dunk. The biggest knock I've always heard on them is that he plays kind of soft inside. I paid extra attention to him most of this year because I had him in fantasy (I traded him), and he just had too many games of like...12 pts and 6 rebs. I know those stats don't tell the whole story but like, it's evidence.

My preferred route for the panthers would be take another OLineman and get baker, but seeing as how they already added a couple linemen during this offseason, I think they will go QB.

I get that trae had a bad postseason, but I don't believe that a 4-7 game series against a single team should have more weight than what a guy does in the regular season. It seems ridiculous to me that trae is the problem after averaging 28+ PPG and almost 10 APG in the regular season, esp when capela missed most of the series and collins played down a level from where he usually does. Any team would have problems when their #2 barely plays and your #3 struggles.

And I'm not convinced it's any more difficult to build around trae than it is any of the guys changmas mentioned. SGA is kind of TBD I suppose, but let's not act like the suns were going anywhere until Chris Paul showed up; he's the driver of that team, not ayton, ayton isn't even the 2nd best player on his team imo, I don't think that qualifies as "building around him." MPJ same deal, and he's hurt all the time to boot.

I don't really buy that his back issue is manufactured, I think he really is ailing. He got what he wanted, out of philly, he has no reason not to play if he's healthy. Dunking on him is fun but I don't think he's gone full on "con a team for the guaranteed money and pretend I'm hurt for a living"

But I also think the nets didn't think he was this bad off and thought he would be playing by now.

As mentioned it does get a bit info dumpy but metroid has never really been huge in terms of in-game story aside from the primes, so it's really only info dumpy by metroid standards.

Something I really enjoyed was how the x situation is given a ton of gravity. The scene walking out of elun with the x flying around everywhere is a real "oh ****" moment. Really makes you feel like the galaxy is in mortal peril with how quickly they take over the planet.

Also the ending is nuts.
