A batshit insane business model, but at least we got the far superior AMC A-List out of it.

They recently introduced Peak Pricing which allows them to nickel and dime you for more popular movies or showtimes, fees and reasons completely at their discretion.

This. Best generation tbh, possibly the zenith of human intellectuality and the first (possibly only) generation to be moved primarily by utilitarian thinking rather than traditional flow-going-with-ery

You don't even have statistics to back up your claims lol.

Not to mention a ridiculous majority of all child disappearances in the US are the result of the child being taken by someone they know.

You need statistics to believe kids are more likely to be kidnapped at the park than in their own yard?

Also hilarious how the idea of USING your lawn doesnt even cross their minds. My kids and dog can play on it. Its not just to look at. I can play sports/outside games/with my dog.

Interesting how this still happens in countries where American-style lawns aren't a thing

Yes, they go play in crappy public parks and get kidnapped while I have my own private, well kept and safe area for my kids to play.

And my dog isnt forced to deal with other peoples shitty, diseased dogs just so he can get some exercise.

I mow my lawn once a week, sometimes once every two weeks depending on rain, takes me about 45 minutes to hour. Its amazing exercise and I just throw on my headphones, pick an album and go to town. I weed once a month, thats literally all the maintenance required.

The average age of baseball fans increases by one year every year, currently at 53, so yes, actually.

Also, this is a joke/bad trolling topic.

Add a 10 second pitch timer, if the pitcher goes over its a ball, if the batter does its a strike.

Limit mound conversations.

No longer allow basemen to shift position to crowd the side a batter is likely to hit to. This is why the league batting average is the worst its been in 40 years.

And probably shave off like 5 teams from the league.

Do this or baseball is dead in 15-20 years tops.

Think about short games you haven't played yet but own.

The only game I can play for eternity and never get tired of is Sonic Mania. Christ ive beaten it so many times over the year.

When Plus comes out in a few days ill at least have my go-to option back, ive been avoiding playing the standard version since Plus was announced so I can appreciate the complete version.

I think its because its accessible enough that I can turn it on, beat a level and turn it off. And the checkpoints are generous enough that if I die I dont lose motivation due to the feeling of wasting time playing through sections I already passed. And each new level feels fresh because I havent played that level since the last time I beat the game, and with 5 characters each experience playing that level feels fresh since I havent played that level with that character since the last time I beat the game with that character, and now with Encore mode being remixed versions of each level, its already consistent feeling of freshness has doubled.

Then you pick one and it's not actually as engaging as you thought it would be. It isn't bad, but you just don't click into it like some games. Then you drop it, and now it's added to the pile of half finished games you'll probably never get back to.

Exactly this.

The last game that grabbed me this way was Super Metroid, which I played for the first time on my SNES Classic earlier this year. My God I could not put it down and immediately played through Fusion and Zero Mission right after because I needed more. But by the time I started the Prime games, the kick was over so I lost interest a little bit into the first one.

Shes gotten along great with my downstairs neighbors cats in my previous apartment so she DOES have cat experience, might be because shes the alpha in this house now, where before she was entering my neighbors cats house.
