For me its 100% about who I work with and for, not what I do.

My job is pretty mundane and boring but my team and boss are amazing and were like a little family, so I enjoy going there every day because we make boring work fun.

I agree with this, but I have a family and own a house as well. I think you may have made a mistake in buying that house though.

See the thing is that you're selling a version of you to every woman you meet. Now the problem is that you have no way of improving your living situation with her because you're stuck in a 30 year mortgage now.

If you just have an apartment when you get into a relationship and then buy a house together she will appreciate it much more and will care about it more and about you more.

Im not living my life based around who may or may not come along and what their personal standards and preferences are, I want to make the best life for myself as an individual and come whatever may.

Thanks! I got super lucky because the seller was retiring into a community and didnt need 90% of her stuff, so it was almost fully furnished with pretty nice stuff (better than my tastes at least.) She was thanking ME up and down for making moving out so easy for her, and I was like This is literally the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.

That said I bet TC has debt of some sort (student loans, car payments; mortgage at least).

No student loan, car was paid off 2 years ago and obviously I just signed a 30 year mortgage. So thats it, just the mortgage.

Definitely not overrated at all, ive seen it 800 times and even if I catch it halfway through I GOTTA see the rest of it.

That being said, one issue I had with the movie is aside from Andys bullies in the beginning, none of the prisoners are portrayed as being, well, prisoners. They all seem like good ol boys doing time together, so much so that its hard to imagine that they committed crimes to be in prison for decades.

I mean think about it, Andy was in prison for 16 years before escaping, and all his friends were seasoned veterans when he got there, which means they were serving 20 to as many as 50 year sentences in Brooks case, thats pretty serious ass time. Youd think theyd have at least SOME hardened criminal vibe to them.

Apparently the genre has actually been labeled as Metroidvania.

What are others in this kind of genre? Games that take place in a single location and over time you explore the map, clear rooms as you go which give you new abilities that allow you to access previously unreachable rooms?

Other games that come to mind are Luigis Mansion, Arkham Asylum, Metal Gear Solid 1, the first few Resident Evil games.

So glad I bought the SNES Classic, I never owned an SNES growing up so I had only played Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Link To The Past and a couple other major games at friends houses over the years.

This game is an absolute masterpiece, I LOVE games that take place in a single location and you clear room by room as you go like Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, Metal Gear Solid, Luigis Manson, Arkham Asylum, etc.
