Is it more of a political thriller or an action show, or does it blend both like 24?

I know hes the president but I figured theyd be trying to catch the bad guys too.

I watched every episode from jump as they aired. It starts off good, gets great, then falls off a cliff so freaking hard.

Also, it's been cancelled.

The main story ended. Way too early, in fact. And from there they kind of went nowhere. It almost became a Presidential procedural crime drama.

There are longer storylines told in the background, but they still relied on crisis of the week stuff.

The show did end in a pseudo cliffhanger, but the answer to the presented question they left us with was obvious and it would have added nothing to the show at all.

Funny you mention the Following. That's another show that got progressively worse. If that didn't bother you, then this show won't either.

Season 1 is exciting if not a bit campy and unrealistic. Season 2 descends into stupid in a similar vein to latter seasons of House.

It's basically a more political 24, although the Asian chick provides a lot of the over the top action scenes.

Season 2 is such a joke though. That Leor guy or whatever his name is...ughh.
