Protect, talk to the hand, wave of the hand, wallop, halt, deceive reality, like water are all good to great imo. Plus watcher is just really good at outputting damage and eliminating low/mid HP targets in wrath stance, just don't end in wrath stance if you can avoid it or can't tank it. Protect is 12 points of block whenever you need it. Deceive reality is basically protect's slightly awkward cousin. Talk to the hand is worth an upgrade imo, getting +3 block each time you hit that hit enemy for the rest of the battle gives you a shit ton of block over the course of a fight for 1 energy. wave of the hand is the best source of weak in the game. Wallop and halt are worth a ton of block in wrath stance, and wallop also does damage. I actually got to the heart, thanks to two of those and two of the one that does the power where you just keep getting more and more energy every turn. I've officially beaten a run on each character after taking some time to figure each one out. Defect took me the longest, with a shit ton of failed runs, but I think I have some ideas now. Watcher had a steep curve at first, but once I realized where the synergies are I got a very easy winning run. Gonna dig into ascensions tomorrow and start figuring it all out. I'm hoping I can just keep getting better at Defect.
