Both of my grandfathers were beekeepers (the one was a high up voice in the midwestern beekeeping community), my dad is a beekeeper, my mom got into it to help him, and my sister and I were also getting heavily involved.

At the age of 23, after being stung thousands of times with no issues, I became allergic to bees. This effectively shut down any involvement in the family culture :/

Let's say you pump gas into you car every single day. That's about 365 times in a year. You see, YOU are the one pumping gas into your car. Along with most people on CE, you pump your own gas. But you see, I live in Oregon, and we don't allow people to pump their own gas, it's all full service, people pump gas into your car for you. I used to be one of those people, for about 5 years in total.

I would pump gas into about 200 cars a day since it was really close to the airport. I would almost pump more gas in a single day than you would in almost an entire year, and that's with you doing it every day, which I doubt you do. 200 cars a day, 5 times a week, for about 5 years. You do the math, buddy. ^_^d
