If my parents were, for example, being encouraged to commit terrorism because of their religious beliefs, you can bet your ass I'd try to talk them out of it because there's a big difference in people believing what they want to believe and people using their beliefs as an excuse to commit terrorism

To be fair, Tidus had a skewed view on Jecht because his mother was a complete and utter piece of shit.

There was a flashback saying that every time he was around she'd neglect Tidus to spend time with him, and Jecht himself would be the one telling her to spend time with him. Then when Jecht disappeared, she went and died because she stopped giving a fuck.

Tidus has massive parent issues. He's just blaming the wrong horse. That's not to say Jecht is a good parent, I just don't see a reason to blame him over the actual neglectful parent

You can post all the walls of text you want, I have anecdotal experience that tells me I feel a lot more creative wearing my purple shirt with a moogle on it than I do being forced to wear drab bullshit.

Uniform policies do nothing but cause teachers to waste precious class time on calling people out for not having their shirts tucked in or stupid bullshit like that. The cure is worse than the disease.

That's honestly how I've always felt about phones in school too. They are a tool, that you can use productively or waste your time with. Someone in class tapping on their phone never disrupted my education at all. What did disrupt my education, however, was the teacher stopping class repeatedly to confiscate their phones and argue about it. Classes where the teachers didn't care, I feel like I got more out of because they weren't interrupting class to impose their will on their students.

Personal responsibility factors into this too. I chose to use my phone to take notes. If someone else chooses to use their phone to play games, well it's their own education that they are ruining. That's on them. The only way it can affect my education is if the teacher starts pulling a power play and interrupting education time to argue with them.

Yes because downloading and replacing some files on the PC version is the same as getting a mod chip installed into your console

In my case I have an older system so it literally was a manner of downloading some files and then dragging and dropping them right onto my Switch. Without even turning the Switch off, I just transferred it over by ftp.

The fact that people choose to keep their systems weak is on them. If someone chooses to cross the road with a blindfold on, that's their right to be stupid. I choose to remove the blindfold so I can use my eyes, and I use those eyes to look at my pretty Switch theme

For now. Cloned mod chips are coming onto the market, so even people with new Switch models will be able to hack them.

That second group is the one who's minds I hope to change, because it feels sad seeing people using basic systems without a custom theme or overclocking to remove the slowdown

If you install the Nocturne Hardtype mod, which brings the game some much needed difficulty with things like battles against all four riders at once, also makes a magic build viable. Odds are the mod will be ported over to the remaster sooner or later

Honestly, I kinda like this. In the 3DS days, all Atlus games got the Atlus tax and cost more. I didn't mind paying cause they were legitimately better than all the other 3DS games.

Now you can pay the tax to play the game early, or just buy it for normal price at launch.

All companies should offer this, so we can play all games a week early if we choose to pay
