Right now, I'm working on a story which has an ethnically diverse main cast and a predominantly Asian setting. If this story were to come to fruition, the most likely outlet for it would be animation. That got me thinking on how feasible it would actually be to try and keep every character/actor ethnicity-specific.

You say "predominantly". Is this an actual Asian location on Earth or a fantasy location that has elements to it that you've drawn from real-life Asian settings? If the former, you are kind of pigeonholing yourself. If the latter, then you've got more freedom to adjust.

Furthermore, is the character's ethnicity and experience important to their role in the story and or their characterization?

It's also kind of funny in one of the worst endings, (Bioshock 2 again) where if you harvest all the Little Sisters, yet spare all three villains, then Eleanor legitimately interprets this as the cruelest of mercies and "forcing them to live and suffer", so she lets her mother live to see the horror Eleanor will wreak on the world.

I'd fucking read that story.

Batman against a C-grade villain, punching and jumping around a warehouse and shit, and one of Gotham's finest shows up and the villain turns on the cop, who then shoots him dead and Batman's got a whoooole new element of his modus and character that needs exploring.

And while the cop might not have necessarily been "morally" right in shooting the villain, the threat was justifiable.

That's got to have happened at some point, right? I couldn't believe that's never happened. And I don't mean in a "turns out the cop was dirty" scenario either.

It can't just be "Gotham police let Batman do his thing" on one side and "dirty cops who Batman would go for anyway" on the other.

And I hazard that "niche" is its portability. There's a reason the Switch Lite exists. We don't see it much among ourselves on GameFAQs, but there is apparently a large group of consumers out there who are perfectly fine with owning a Switch on an entirely portable basis.

If I recall, (Bioshock 2 again) "sane" Gil from the past is the one asking you to euthanize him. The current state of Gil pleads for his life.

Also, you can totally get the best ending if you rescue all the Little Sisters and spare even one of the three people.

Not that it doesn't make it questionable writing of course.

Oh also, all the sparing/killing bad guys thing does is affect Eleanor's choice to spare or kill her mother. A choice that is also morally ambiguous given the shit she's done.

Looks okay and the writing looks great. The main difficulty of the game seems to be in using the ring puzzle setup to your best advantage.

There's no XP and they didn't explain how Mario gets stronger. You get Coins in massive amounts, though.

I'm still holding off, if for no other reason than I'm in the middle of a TTYD run.

The Nintendo logo is red, but honestly they've never settled on a color for branding. N64 was multicolor. Gamecube was of course purple. Wii was white. It wasn't until Switch where they went hard.

Playstation started gearing towards blue in the PS2 era. The lettering was blue and the accenting was blue, but again, not until PS4 did they did they heavily represent the background as blue.

XBox was green from the get-go. From moment one. They picked green and they stuck with it.

I honestly think once MS had their colors set, Sony picked up on it this last generation to take blue, and Nintendo then completed the trifecta by making the Switch logo big red.
