Also, Yakuza is probably 100 times better than our Mafia. Yakuza actually wants to help its government and people while Mafia want to take from it. The idea behind the Mafia is cool but its less about self protection and now just about money. They're not better. They're just different and more a derivative of Japanese culture than Western culture. They're still criminals. They still make their money off drugs, sex, extortion, and racketeering. Also, the idea of yakuza "getting involved and helping out" is not a unique one. Western organized crime will also do things to ingratiate themselves to the community, especially in times of struggle. This does not make them "better".
