I wonder why the biggest massacre of the week got the Saturday primetime spot.

I think I misinterpreted the spread tiebreaker or I probably would have gone a little higher, so that's an oops.

Earlier this week I had the Falcons at 28 points but... That would assume 4 touchdowns and no field goals for a team that kicks a lot of field goals and struggles in the red zone, so I made it more realistic even if it might backfire. I have little faith in the Eagles' offense (That first-play fumble did not help their stock).

Of course the Falcons will probably settle for a field goal because it's what they do...

I am not native to this community. I mostly only show up if I have a reason to or simply on a whim.

Considering the game starts in 30 minutes anyway.. I see no reason to bother with the PM.

1. Which team will win -- and by how much? Falcons 26, Eagles 20
2. Do you LOCK your pick in? Nope.
3. Pick a Spread that will make your team win in the event you both pick the wrong team - Falcons +3.5 (This would be them losing by a exactly field goal, to be certain?)
4. How many points will be scored in the game - 46
5. How many passing yards will be thrown in the game - 389
6. How many rushing yards will be rushed for in the game? - 225
Bonus: Do you wish to remove the LOCK tiebreaker? (A unanimous decision by all remaining players removes the LOCK tiebreaker) - Pretty useless as is. It would not be missed in this current format.

It exists to exploit nostalgia for the original. I guess it makes sense to update it to a video game, that's not a terrible idea.

Only reason I remembered he was was that Carolina played him for a second earlier this season and he threw an interception. Not sure what game it was.

Not sure how much value locking actually has with the rules the way they are. It seems detrimental to ever lock if it kills you on a loss but means almost nothing on a win (worthless unless you pick the exact same confidence number). Feels like something that is better off augmented or simply abolished.

The full rules say that the lock means nothing and Ashe advances but I think the rule itself needs a look before next week.

So.. With my tiebreaker where it was, so long as the Jaguars won I was going to advance no matter what else happened.

Fluky but ok. Interesting that the two leagues have such a different playoff structure.

Not surprised the Bengals blew it, but I sense a suspension coming for Juju. Cheap shot on a marked man.

Just 1 game though, the NFL does not want to spoil Pit/NE after all.

I feel like Eli going to Jacksonville makes too much sense for it to actually happen.

A suspension was fair.

Sure the DPI on the play was insanely obvious, but Gronk had no justification whatsoever to attack him like that.

That said, I think he only got suspended because the guy got hurt.
