For example fol runs 2-3 games at a time. I would say about 30% of the games are pretty competitive and the others are relaxed or fun gimmicky mafia variants.

I like competitive games.

Competition is fun to some and to others it makes them upset.

I read 3 posts from Crescent and know her alignment in that game. Lol

That honestly may have been my last hurrah playing Mafia, but I'm not sure. Maybe I finally discovered a way of playing the game that doesn't follow the footsteps of the pure brashness and aggression I used to play with and have tried to channel my last few games. At the same time though, I feel like these more recent signups of mine may have been more to prove something to myself than for any other reason, as pre Blade Mafia 5 and the hype leading up to it's release, I'd been a relic of this community for years, in multiple phases. This is the first time I competed in the NFL leagues in probably 3-4 years?

Maybe sometime in the future I'll join a game again, but it won't be right now.

Oh and while I currently have no innovative ideas for a Blade Mafia 6 and probably won't, there's always the possibility inspiration will strike me.

I think your brashness and aggressiveness is probably moreso a town trait of having to prove what you think is right to others. And it's been noted for the maybe one time you ever play again.

The most egregious thing was that lopen actually wanted to play. And not only did you replace out, but you refused to play with lopen and got him removed from being able to play at all when he wouldn't have did what ya did.

No one got more mad than brief day 0 where no one was scum yet and they suspected each other all day on bullshit before scum was randomed night 0 and the runes started a moving roles around.

I feel I teambuilt better than I picked off individual scum in that game (correctly towncleared MZero and BCT if 5Tar scum for example), though I did have Sultan so dead to rights day 1 that I shot him night 1! I'm never supposed to be right day 1!

My biggest issue in getting back into Mafia in recent years has been that the enigma known as "Blade" hasn't really been a thing that exists for a few years now. I cannot play the game the way I used to or am expected to anymore. I don't know if I can even play a single game day that way anymore. My last "great" game was probably GoT2.

The way I play has needed a severe adjustment that I've never really found the balance on, hence my appearance in maybe 3 games over the last 4 years.

I think a lot of us aren't the same caliber anymore. I used to have a memory to remember games off hand and separate play styles and demeanor easily. I can barely remember my own role half the games anymore.

It's just a part of getting older. You'll do fine.

You should play. People could use your perspective on mafia to get more insight on how it's played imo.

And replacing out because people might think she is scum is fucking audacious. I am so fucking tired of hearing how it's everyone else when it comes to her.

I have seen her insult hosts so many times and belittle them because things aren't exactly the way she wants them. Like get the fuck over yourself at some point.

JC died because he killed FD. There wasn't really a town reason to do this with the role he had and how he explained it.

If I hadn't gotten pulled away I would have started screaming to lynch Corrik at EoD there, don't know if it would have made a difference with how inactive it was but I like to believe Sbell would have switched and without Brohan I think we lose anyway due to being outnumbered.

This lacks context. He was asked how he knew Lea. He pointed out how he knew her to point out he indeed knew her in how he could with a prior username. At the very worse, he was prodded into it unintentionally.

It was a fun game. I bet if town had really sunk into the roles a lot and not got overwhelmed it woulda been kinda easy to discern scum. It required a lot of thought though. The harder it is the claim, usually the later scum claim.

I don't see any way town could logically come to the conclusion the day before was a fuckjob and get scum right. You had to be wrong to be right there.

BCT you claimed scum the last day and never even realized it. And you were town. You can't say "gut" trust me your gut reads are wrong more likely than right. You have to explain why they are whatever. No one is gonna take gut seriously when you can't even make it make sense.
