It's really lame when it's a long topic title and it's all blown up in that huge text.

It makes sense if it's a thing that is actively chasing you, like a lion. You're gonna go faster if you don't zig and zag. This is of course ignoring things like a room or small passage to duck in to.

But yeah when it's a tree falling or some thing and all you have to do is hop to your left but they make it a big dramatic scene instead, it just kills the moment.

"Below freezing" isn't that cold unless you're spending extended periods of time outside.
