Then you should have specified that. The Olympics are different from normal American sports because they're not being broadcasted on American TV live as they happen. Obviously spoiling the results before the American TV broadcast even airs is spoilers and should be moddable.

But for something like the Super Bowl that airs live as it happens, then I don't think result for that should be considered spoilers. A 24 hour rule on this site like I mentioned earlier would be fine, but I don't think it's necessary.

Okay so one thing about the Kaijus.

Everyone is supposed to be a reflection on the Godzilla monsters. Ghidora, Mothra, etc. But is Godzilla really Gameciel? I never really thought of him as a turtle. And while his omni negate banish is amazing, you wouldn't think he'd be the weakest atk wise of all the Kaiju <__<

When given the choice to go first or second, which do you all generally choose?

If I'm playing my Ancient Gear deck, then always second. If I'm playing any of my other decks (Monarchs, True Dracos, and Eldlich) then first. Monarchs and True Dracos still have some options if going second thanks to Monarchs Stormforth, but they're way better going first.

There's a dude on the Master Duel subreddit who has been making cheap N/R -nly decks, and some of them look really fun. They're great if you want to build a new deck but are low on SR/UR resources and also great for building first on a new/side account to use until you earn most of the F2P gems to make a better deck. Plus he includes what SR/UR cards would make for good upgrades to the deck if you want to keep using it later.

I really want to build the Yosenju deck in that third post. Yosenjus were actually the last deck I ever used before I quit playing IRL and sold off all my cards.

Just won three straight with my Ancient Gear deck, and all three of them involved me Kaiju-ing away a boss monster they summoned on the first turn.

Well yeah. Card advantage is extremely important in Yu-Gi-Oh, to the point where a card that immediately lets you go +1 with no costs, conditions, or downsides is 100% broken as fuck. Cards like that are fine in other TCG's like Magic The Gathering or Pokemon because those card games have build-in resource systems (mana in MTG, energy in Pokemon) that artificially limit what decks are capable of doing in the first few turns. But Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't have that, so long-ass early combos and maintaining card advantage are the most important parts of the game.

If you want to play a TCG that's more methodical and doesn't end in 2-4 turns after super long combos, then Yu-Gi-Oh simply isn't the one for you. I mentioned MTG and Pokemon, Cardfight Vanguard is out there too, and Build Divide is getting big in Japan and will likely get a western release soon too.

It's one of the best "Yugiboomer wanting to play with something familiar until they get the hang of things and decide to build a real meta deck" decks out there. Not super competitive against top tier decks, but Chaos Max Dragon and the rest of the recent Blue-Eyes support still make it a decent rogue deck.

I think I somehow made my Eldlich deck on my side account even more toxic. Imagine facing an Eldlich deck that ran Vanity's Emptiness to stop your special summons once Golden Lord was out and also ran Imperial Custom to keep Vanity's Emptiness from destroying itself and keep you from destroying Skill Drain, Imperial Order, or the Golden Land trap monsters.

I made it to Gold with my Skull Servants but it's getting to the point where it's getting really hard to win. The point where the opponent just spends like ten minutes during the first turn setting up a field of ultra strong monsters >.>

Kaijus? Lava Golem? Sphere Mode? There are very few monsters that have protection from being tributed away for one of those. The issue is that you can usually only Kaiju one monster away because of the restrictions of the archetype, and while Lava Golem and Sphere Mode tribute away more of the opponent's monsters at a time, they also take away your normal summon for the turn which might affect your ability to set up and OTK. Aside from those, Forbidden Droplet is probably your best bet.

Getting Rhongo'd sucks. It's bullshit and should be banned (which it is in the TCG) but it's somehow not banned in the OCG or Master Duel.

Honestly, I always thought it was kind of stupid that robots can swap in and out different configurations, because it can fundamentally change some bots' entire concepts.

I actually really like that bots are more modular these days, because it adds a bit more strategy and gamesmanship to the sport. Obviously I have a problem with configurations that break the rules or go "your opponent basically doesn't get to play" like Ghost Raptor's de-icer and Hydra's bike rack cage because those make for awful fights and awful television. But other adjustments like adding forks/wedgelets, swapping weapon types, or tying a rake to your self-righting arm to swat a pesky drone aren't a bad thing to me at all.

Apparently the MD subreddit already figured out a way to maximize the gems from daily missions in this game.

Basically, you have to go 3 days without redeeming any daily missions so you eventually have all 9 possible daily missions in your mission list. You can complete them, just don't redeem them to claim the rewards. Then, you just complete and redeem the 3 specific daily challenges that give the biggest reward of 50 gems (done by winning 2 ranked duels and completing at least 3) every day while not redeeming any of the ones that give smaller rewards. That way, the 3 missions that give the biggest reward get constantly refreshed and you can get the max of 150 gems each day from dailies. The daily mission list seems to clear out at the end of each month, so make sure to redeem all 9 missions at once on the final day before that happens.

Can you save gems for later use or do they expire eventually?

You can carry a maximum of 10,000 free gems (I believe paid gems have no limit) and then any more you earn go to your gift box. The ones in your wallet never expire, but I believe the ones that get left in your gift box will after a certain time.

The main event was great and both bots landed some good hits, but End Game landed the big hit to take control and eventually get the KO victory. The defending champ is looking as good as ever. Pretty good episode all around this week, with the first and last fights being the highlights.
