No. In fact his deck has a bunch of dead cards. Seal of Oricholus does nothing since he has no monsters to buff. Branch! let's you special summon fusion material monster when a fusion monster is destroyed.

It's like a troll deck someone made to intentionally lose with.

I had seen Golden Castle of Stromberg and wondered if it was a gimmick burn deck and maybe if any of those cards were banish burn

Are they plat 1? Once you hit plat 1 you can't lose rank for the rest of the season. So some players pull out some wierd or meme decks. I've face a couple that just instant surrender and had decks full of nonsense.

Also there are secret missions they could be farming I guess.

I don't want to come off as overly negative I do like this game and I do like Yu-Gi-Oh but like Yugioh itself I feel has been kinda broken

Well Exodia decks have historically always been that way. Except in modern times, we actually have a counter, which is Ash, Effect Veiler, Impermanence, which are all stuff most decks should run and have a pretty high chance of drawing at least 1 of. You just negate their library and it's just gg.

Back in the days, Exodia decks didn't even let you respond whatsoever. YGO as a whole have always tried to shy away from consistent or difficult to negate FTKs to varying success. But Exodia decks have stayed for the entirety of the game's duration. Hard to say YGO is broken now when it's always existed, and Library has almost always been a huge part

Pretty much this lol. So many times I've played against one and negated Library and they just scoop.

It's funny cuz I just had a friend quit Master Duel because he couldn't win games with his Exodia deck that used stuff like Broken Bamboo Sword and Gold Moon Coin... he was upset that modern cards are stronger than super old cards (let's ignore the fact that the engines he was using were never very good and he refused to play anything like Maxx C), and I didn't have the heart to explain to him that the concept of Exodia solitaire is itself already degenerate....

Be a real duelist, and play Exodia stun. Just keep your opponent from playing the game for 40 turns while you hard draw all pieces. >_>

first i do know to add none evil heros for support

so yes i do have prisma and shadow mist in my deck

would doom lord be a good support card cus of his banish effect

are vision heroes any good

i do have 1 copy of burstinatrix avian clay man sparkman and wild heart for their evil hero fusions but i never even get them out but i dont view them as dead draws as i do have plenty of equip cards to buff them and wild heart has torn through some foes for me

so really just wanting suggestions for cards to add over all i like my evil hero deck just want to make it abit better

This is a decent list (decklist at the end though the replays are good too). It's almost impossible to build a competent pure Evil Hero list if that's what you're looking for though.

when I last played a couple days ago I'd noticed a lot more people playing Kaijus than before. Like the meta of the hivemind was evolving in real time

just had a fantastid duel against a red eyes deck

it was a constant back and forth i had 850 LP left by the time i won

this is the kind of duel i love where either player can win and its a constant back and forth

my favorite red eyes card is Red Eyes Flare Metal Dragon. Every time the opponent finishes an activation or an effect they take 500 damage. Really funny to slap multiple down against combo decks. + it's immune to destruction

When given the choice to go first or second, which do you all generally choose?

If I'm playing Sky Strikers I try to go second and pray for Evenly Matched. <_<

If I'm playing PendMages I prefer going second because I like summoning Supreme Clear Wing for a free raigeki and having access to the battle phase lol

I always do second because my deck is kinda built for second

If I'm playing my Ancient Gear deck, then always second. If I'm playing any of my other decks (Monarchs, True Dracos, and Eldlich) then first. Monarchs and True Dracos still have some options if going second thanks to Monarchs Stormforth, but they're way better going first.

I prefer going 1st with pendurum mago for the chance to set up Time Pendulumgraph removal and getting your scales to survive a turn using Pendulum Call so you can come back even harder turn 3.

It is pretty funny how cards like Supreme King Dark Rebellion can just come out swinging as game winners though. One of the most fun things about playing the deck is that you end up using a lot of extra deck cards that other decks don't or can't. Metaphys Horus is an example of crazy disruption that only pendulum gets the full benefit out of.

Tbf, they only really beat Drytron while failing to impact VW or Eldlich so much. But there was a while that I saw so many Drytron decks in a row that I'd understand running a lot of Herald hate.

I mean I started running Super Poly & Mudragon to fuse Herald and Fafnir lol

Every time I get Kaijud it my mechaba. Right move obviously but actually getting invocation without ash blossom coming down is hard enough that it stings.

So apparently there's hacking now. The most common occurrence is the opponent will do their first draw and then all of a sudden the game will say you lost because you surrendered.

Absolute scumbags to cheat in a game like this lol. Especially when the rewards aren't that great to do so.

Sometimes people hack so they can win. Other times they do it just to annoy/ mess with others. Either way, it's pathetic.

Had a crazy duel against Numeron OTK. Lots of turns spent surviving with low life points (including going against a 10,000 atk guy) until I finally pulled through.

I feel like I'm being pranked but apparently this card is real and assumedly will eventually come to this game (it just released)

So, this card could already be a big deal on its own because often what kills a PenMag's first turn is not having enough special summons to create a link monster like Electrumite before the turn's pendulum summon. This card would let your pendulum out your hand, make a Link monster from them, and then pendulum summon those materials back from the extra in the same turn. But if this card really counts as a "Pendulum" card (not sure how those abbreviation texts work in OCG), then it can be searched by Duelist Alliance, making such a play even more consistent. And if you can make Electrumite BEFORE playing this card, well hot diggity. And that's just for an aging archetype like PM. Solfachords might be able to abuse this card eventually.

the game is going to get to the point where ppl dont even have turns they just star mass summoning durring the first standby phase and using effects and doing damage on said stand by phase

The future meta of this game is going to have search combos so strong, your entire deck is basically a second hand.

And Pot of Greed will still be banned.

I just made a field with 2 flare metal dragon and my opponent had SECURE GARDNA of all cards in their ED to negate effect damage. I am aghast

Everyone is supposed to be a reflection on the Godzilla monsters. Ghidora, Mothra, etc. But is Godzilla really Gameciel? I never really thought of him as a turtle. And while his omni negate banish is amazing, you wouldn't think he'd be the weakest atk wise of all the Kaiju <__<

Guess there are more sore losers disconnecting today. Had someone go into Rhongomyniad turn 1 but bricked after that and couldn't win before losing its materials. I blew it up with a trap once I could and they instantly disconnected. Unlike a surrender if your opponent disconnects you don't get any mission completion so I had to finish my dailies against someone that actually plays.
