Indeed she did. Keep in mind that ViVid takes place about 4 years after StrikerS. She's not the only character that was serving the villains in StrikerS that reformed and appeared as a side character in ViVid (or ViVid Strike) either, there are actually several.

Cherami Leigh is working overtime at Funimation. She voices a character in the new Fire Force season and a new character in Black Clover

It feels like she's freaking everywhere now. This year alone, I've also heard her in these roles as well as the two you mentioned:

- Railgun T (as Uiharu)
- Tower Of God (as Anaak)
- BNA (as Michiru)
- Magia Record (as Alina)
- Pokemon Journeys (as Chloe)

That's major roles in dubs for Funimation, Aniplex, Crunchyroll, and Netflix in that small list alone. Plus she's going to reprise her role (from the games) as Makoto Nijima in the upcoming dub of Persona 5: The Animation, another Aniplex dub.

@legendarylemur What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this show? I know that the CFVG franchise apparently did a "reboot" at one point, which implies two different continuities. If I'm understanding this episode of Vanguard IF right... did Eru's "third set of memories" line imply that both of those timelines and the Vanguard If timeline are all canon and actually happened? Maybe whatever is causing the distortions in Vanguard IF also had a hand in the timeline being split between the original and reboot series? As someone from outside the franchise who just wanted to watch some fun magical girl card game shenanigans in this spin-off, I'm really confused, but still really intrigued by where this series could be going.

I've decided: I'm sticking with Tales Of Crestoria at least until they add best girl Colette to the game as a playable character (whenever that is) and whether I pull her from her banner or not will decide whether I continue with it after that. On a related note, I got a guaranteed SSR ticket today from the challenge missions and it gave me Rita, so now I have 5 SSR characters (Kohaku, Milla, Sorey, Asbel, and now Rita) in total.

From what I'm reading about Guardian Tales, it's being highly praised for the story content and raw gameplay, but people are saying that any content beyond that (including the PvP, which I'm seeing a lot of people say is really pay-to-win) isn't worth it.

I might give it a chance if I end up dropping Tales Of Crestoria, which I'm still not 100% sold on yet.

Feel free to ask me about any of them if you need a quick refresher. The obviously familiar ones would be Nanoha/Fate (from the previous Nanoha seasons) and Vivio/Einhardt (from their appearances in ViVid Strike) but others might be tougher to recognize.

Yes. Everything in the Nanoha timeline from StrikerS onward takes place on Midchilda. Everything before it (the first two seasons as well as the Reflection/Detonation movies) takes places on Earth, before Nanoha and the gang "relocated" for their work with the TSAB.

Just found out that one of my favorite anime had some Blu-ray/DVD specials that I didn't know about, so I found them and watched them. Half of it was fourth-wall-breaking meta humor and the other half was existential dread in chibi form.

Just a heads up for you guys here who joined the guild I set up in Crestoria: If the guild just mysteriously disbands one day, it means I uninstalled the game and I'm probably not coming back. I'm definitely going to be more lenient and forgiving than I am with other gacha games because I love the Tales franchise a lot, but even that good faith can only carry it so far. Anyways, we also have some actually good news for Crestoria...

Some new features are coming soon, including a skip feature which will hopefully make grinding for resources a lot easier. Revue Starlight ReLIVE has this feature (you can auto-skip any battle you've gotten all three achievement stars for, excluding battles that don't have achievement stars like event bosses) and it's an absolute godsend. I think some other gacha games have this feature but limit you to a certain number of skips per day or require you to collect "skip tickets" to use them, but ReLIVE doesn't have that limitation and hopefully Crestoria won't either.

I tried changing the time zone within the app itself (there's a setting for it) and that didn't work, and I also don't want to change my entire phone's time just to make this work normally. I'll just keep using the workaround until they fix it.

I find crestoria drains my battery way more than any other game I've played, even on performance settings. Makes me think twice about playing it on the go.

Same. I have the lowest settings possible and all of the sounds muted and it still drains my battery twice as fast as MagiReco or ReLIVE do.

I've been seeing some lag here and there, but it's been minor for me so far. The main issue I've been dealing with in Crestoria is that the power-up quests are bugged for me and always say "time is up" no matter what time of the day it is, which prevents me from selecting them from the menu. I have to use a workaround by going to my items list and clicking "found at" on whatever item I'm trying to farm, which takes me to the power-up quests that are actually open. It's annoying, but at least it's not preventing me from actually playing those missions.

I've seen other people having the "time is up" issue with those missions and also dealing with lag and other technical issues. Overall, it hasn't been a very good launch for Crestoria despite how enjoyable the game itself actually is.

That makes sense now. Anyways, duo units have been a thing in JP for a while, and EN literally just got their first one with the current event that ends today. The first duo unit (the one that EN just got) was the Amane Sisters swimsuit version:

Since then, there's been an Iroha/Yachiyo "final battle" duo unit that was the 2nd anniversary limited event in JP and a Rika/Ren Christmas duo unit along with the Rena/Kaede swimsuit duo unit you posted. Darc also later got an alternate "final form" that essentially turned Liz into her stand (and spawned plenty of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure references) but that's not technically a duo unit since only Darc's sprite appears on the battlefield. Still figured it was worth mentioning since it often gets lumped in with the other duo units.

Rena's always been pretty big compared to the other girls in the game. The Live2D body models the game uses for the girls are identical for all of a girl's costumes, and they just don't look as big in her normal clothing or her magical girl outfit compared to a swimsuit showing them off.

They look even bigger in that video because the animators can properly show them being pushed up by the swimsuit, which the Live2D model can't.

Rena's personal kind of magic is transformation magic, which she normally uses to completely disguise herself as another person, right down to the body proportions. I don't think she's ever been shown using her transformation magic in a partial way to adjust her own body rather than simply as a complete disguise. Theoretically she might be able to, but there's no evidence in canon to show that she can or ever has.

Elisa (AKA meguca Mordred) and Corbeau are being added, Darc (AKA meguca Jeanne d'Arc) and Liz will be getting a re-run (for those who weren't lucky/rich enough to pull them last time) and Melissa (the event freebie from Darc's event who I believe will also be obtainable in this one) will be receiving her 5* uncap and doppel. There have been other similar re-run/sequel events in the JP server that gave past freebies like Melissa their upgrades (even the Nanoha collab event got a re-run) so we'll just have to wait and see how many of those EN will get.

I saw that name mentioned in the Crestoria /vg/ thread a couple of times, and I looked her up on the Tales wiki and it looks like her, so I think you're right. Also, the other girl (the one with the palm-tree-looking ponytail) is apparently Kanonno from Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2.
