He posted something about an article saying how Nazis and anti semites are hijacking pro palestinian protests and was trying to imply you are the company you keep. I JUST said that the article specifically said "HIJACKED" meaning that the nazis do not belong there and that anti zionism/protesting the Israeli government isnt anti semitism.

Its waaaaayyy more nuanced than this. Sugar IS bad, but a lil sugar wont do much harm. Also all those foods you mentioned, their health level depends mostly on how they were prepared. Whole grains, sourdough bread are much much much better than their processed, white counter parts.

Looks like any other low tier MCU movie. Problem is that the build up behind the movie is locked behind Wanda Vision and Ms Marvel. Lots of people missed the latter because theyre angry man babies for the most part who cant fathom a comic book series being targeted at any other demo besides themselves. Same with she hulk.

Not a teacher but in my conversations with teachers in PTCs, it definitely seems like they tiptoe a lot more than I would have expected when I was growing up.

I can tell this because my third grader (who is, to a degree, special needs) objectively performs at about a kindergarten to first grade level and is often a pain in the ass behaviorally, and the teacher seemed so relieved when I was actually understanding that she is not an easy student.

Yeah my kid is in 1rst grade and he's a bit behind on some stuff, mostly emotionally, but can perform well enough on tests. Well we had a reunion with the principal and two teachers and I remember the principal telling the teachers about us "dont worry, theyre pretty receptive to feedback".

Made me think how many parents must be confrontational about anything said about their kids.

The money isnt the issue. My kids just arent going to be bums who dont think they dont have to contribute to resources they are using. Boomers and gen x already screwed that up for us. Our kids need to learn social, fiscal and environmental responsibility.

Sounds like youre stressed by the bills...and who wouldnt be with 4 kids. Also part of being a good parent is making sure they dont try to be bums and live off of you. You encourage them to spread their wings, but also offer them help when they need even its conditional.

Yes. Game has very high points only to come to a stop and bombard you with shit, filler quests that break the pace. Remove most of these, add more depth to the battle system and it wouldve gotten more 9s and 10's across the board.
