My family's also been relatively poor, and I learned early on to live as far below my means as I could manage. Fortunately, the financial aid system for my college is good to low income families. I'm often trying to catch a city bus to go to campus, or interacting with a girl or girls (they're not always wet dreams; often we just talk). Especially when I was little, I'd gag if the food was too hard or gravelly or slimy or tasted weird or whatever. Fortunately, my tolarance has gone up somewhat as I've gotten older. I puked the first time I had scrambled eggs, but now they're one of my favorite foods (same with spaget'). But from a young age, my one true food-love was peanut butter. Not Peterpan (f*** Peterpan) nor Jiff, but Skippy (natural). I'd take a sleeve of crackers and make peanut butter sandwiches with them, or make PB&J. I tended to crave Reeses and peanut butter cookies. Yeah, I'd eat other things, but I had to have my PB fix. Fortunately, I was blessed with a speedy metabolism, so I didn't get chubby from doing so ^-^ Even nowadays, I often have peanut butter crackers as a side for lunch, or PB&J with hotpockets as dinner xD Aside from my pickiness, lots of my eating habits are unusual, like I eat like a bird when I'm nervous or in public places. *shrug* LinkPizza posted... Which foods so you only eat? Or which foods are the ones you're picky about? I'm picky about most foods, since I can easily tell differences between brands and whatnot. I'm pretty passionate about what I do like though, as you can see from the paragraph above xD I stay away from things like celery (tastes weird, IMO) or soda (which angers my tum-tum), but for other foods it depends on what the food is.
