Super Mario World is my favorite game of all time. Love that game so much. too bad it lost, but link to the past is a great game in it's own right obviously.

The playstation list excludes the final fantasy games (or other rpgs), no MGS, tekken 2 and not tekken 3, no resident evil, and no spyro.

I did strongly consider putting tales of eternia on here.

Twisted Metal 2 is one of my favorite PS1 games (favorite would probably be Spyro YotD)

Out of those twisted metal, crash and Tony hawk are what rise to the top for me, hard to choose out of those.

OooooooWEE! This one was a struggle! Mega Man X4 and everything from Tekken 2 to Twisted Metal 2 on that list have reasons for getting my vote. In the end, though, I went with Street Fighter Alpha 3. Up until kind of recently when I was finally able to play Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Alpha 3 was my favorite Street Fighter game (not counting crossover games like Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter). I know much better versions of the game exists on other consoles but the PS1 version still holds up in my eyes.

That is a really good list of games.

None of that RPG garbo.

SotN is the only Castlevania game I ever liked, and I liked it a lot.

SotN by a wide margin.

If you would've had Suikoden 2 on this that might have been a hard choice though.

Yeah, it happens in typical 'best ps1 games' topics on gamefaqs for me.
You know the ones where it's basically 4 Final Fantasy's, Breath of Fire's, Suikoden's and Dragoons.
Holy guys, play a different genre for once.

I should make my own topic like this about PS1 games then. None of the games you listed would be on it. And of this list, only THPS2 would be included on mine.
