There's a browser extension called Blocktube that can be used to block videos and channels from your feed/searches. You can add title words and/or channel names to the Filter Options screen and after that they should not show in results or anywhere else.

I strongly recommend you to use either Matrix or Revolt not Discord, mainly because Discord uses AI for server scans triggered by reports, meaning you have a political channel that has serveral blacklisted triggerwords, somebody reports the server for fun and hits the report threshold, AI finds those triggerwords and closes the server+bans the owner in the process.

I've seen several discord servers getting banned even for reasons like "Fraud" when the blacklisted keywords were literally only in linked articles. Good recent example would be the XZ backdoor.
Articles have the keyword "backdoor", "Remote Code Execution" and even the names of the infected files. The AI discord uses detects several red flags and marks the server as a blackhat hacking server dedicated to commit fraud.

If it's based on keywords, moderators could block messages with those with the Block Custom Words option.

Servers with only a few channels are a pain to read through; I'd rather there be too many than too few.

I guess another recommendation that I have is to maybe separate super specific things from others.
For example, I have a channel that is exclusively for girls, a separate one for guys, a separate one for futa etc.
It can get a bit overwhelming, but it may be worth considering

Btw you can change your display name under Settings > Edit Profile > Server Profiles if you want it to show as your GFAQs username.

This topic and my internet getting worse topic should honestly be stickied. There's no way this complaint hasn't been spread on social media and gained traction by now, it's crazy that they keep getting away with it.

Maybe I'm too jaded, but it feels like one of those issues where the majority don't care and just want to consoom.

For more popular sites, devs have stepped up and made extensions that can improve your experience on said sites. In this case I found one called Blocktube. In a Rational team, what could be a good replacement for Xiangling? I have her but compared to Raiden, C3 Bennett, and C4 Xingqiu, she's definitely the weakest link at C0 - her ult takes too long and it just doesn't last long enough

I think a major part of it is the structure and communion that comes from it. Having something else tell you how the world works and what to do is easy on the mind, and the regular meetings and social support are generally good for one's mental health.

The issue with Pokemon isn't that it used to be better. But rather, fans are upset about all of the wasted potential. It's one of the biggest IP's in the world, yet the games are so low effort, which has become increasingly obvious with the games on the Switch. Minimal story, no voice acting (I'm sorry, but don't have a whole ass concert scene if you're not going to add in voices), bad graphics, tons of glitches. The games could be amazing, but that's not what we've been getting.

One could say that the games have not evolved much...

It obviously depends on accent, but a quick google of "sock hawk rhyme" shows pretty much every resource saying they do.

As someone mentioned earlier, the bar for musical rhymes is lower so I'm pretty sure that plays into this.
