tagging this, been a while since I've listened to this in full (probably when Cornell passed). Already think I know what my #1 will be.

(Also, the version I have here is the 20th anniversary remaster. Is that the one I should listen to? Or is it one of those "Loudness Wars" remasters?)

The Dolphins had a terrible start to the year and turned it around. Things were looking up and next year was finally looking like the year they'd make a run.

Instead, they fired Flores for a probably dumb reason, and they'll go back to being the doormat of the AFC East since the Jets will start to get somewhere under Rob Saleh.

Nagy was 100% expected and Zimmer could have gone either way. And somehow Trent Baalke is still on Shad Khan's payroll. That's also "Weird News from Florida."

It's good that they didn't, but more people need to use nicknames. Like... I wouldn't call my dog "Dog" for example. Yes, I'd do "Who's a good doggie?" and whatnot but saying "Dog" in lieu of the actual name is an attack on the pet's individuality. This is why I find it a requirement to nickname any Pokemon I use. They're more than just pets; they're companions. I get sentimental regardless, so...

Yes, even over the Packers. From what I'm seeing, Loverboy has way too far to go. People will say he's a bust. May be early to judge, but...

I use a theme for the ones I use. Previous themes have included goddesses (all female; my Ninetales was Amaterasu), computer build components (my Tyrunt was named Ripjaws), Survivor tribes (my shiny Zubat was obviously Vinaka), and Weird Al songs (a Wingull named Phony Calls).

When I was younger I used dumber themes for everything I caught but I stopped bothering with what I wasn't using because it was wasteful.

The players don't care about draft position. They just want to win and they want to play spoiler for their rival.

You have a point. Many of them will be with other teams next year. And they don't want to have a replacement drafted to give them the boot.

Players show up and if the coaches don't, it may be a better result.

They ran the risk that the SNF wouldn't matter; it just looked unlikely. Like I can't fathom why the Jags want to pay spoiler. That #1 overall pick is worth a lot to their future. The Colts needed to win to be in so to be down by three touchdowns is... yikes.

Stealers just picked off a pass in the end zone so that game may change...

Why are the Jags beating the Colts? I can't fathom it. Colts need to win, Jags need to lose.

And, yes, Loverboy is clearly not the QB of the future. Glad the Lafleur learned his lesson and played the starters some so they weren't too rusty come the playoff game. I still expect us to lose, like I always do in the playoffs.

Were the Cowboys bored or something? AFAIK they were going to be the #4 seed unless Arizona takes the West... and the Eagles already clinched (they'll be the 7-seed unless the Saints make it in).

I've heard the big-name songs from this masterpiece many a time (I have the Supertramp compilation, which splits this with Crime of the Century), and some of those - especially "Goodbye Stranger" - never get old. They have fun hooks and it's pretty blatant why three of those were singles; the only non-single I enjoyed just as much was "Gone Hollywood" because of the insane harmonies. And there isn't a track I outright dislike on here - it's all good stuff. Rick and Roger were on fire for this one.

It honestly depends on what's counted. I will be combining same-time Pokemon releases (so Red/Blue together count as one, but Yellow is separate), but... for Mario do you count Mario Kart, Mario Sports, and Mario Party as all separate series? I really don't know what under that franchise umbrella should count here.

However, for Pokemon (14 + 6) Red/Blue, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire, Emerald. Leaf Green, Pearl, Platinum, White, White 2, X, Alpha Sapphire, Moon (franchise-killer imho), plus things like TCG, Stadium, Hey You Pikachu, Snap, etc. So it's probably Pokemon given the sheer amount, even with combining initial releases.

Zelda (11): LoZ, LTTP, LA (DX), OoT, MM, OoA, WW, MC, TP, SS (ugh), BOTW

Yeah, AB is an immature twit and the Bradys are handling this entire thing terribly. It's going to create unnecessary drama that will create a rift in the playoffs. Team cohesion is so important at this point and that's not happening in Tampa. Arians doesn't look very good in this, either.

They need to look for a young guy with a good mind like the current trend is, not a guy who washed out of their own division. If they keep Baalke and hire O'Brien (and his 30 seniors!!!!!1!), the Jags are fucked for as long as Shad Khan remains owner. A lot of players and coaches have no desire to go there now and that would make it permanent.

As was said, they're also interviewing Byron Leftwich, who'd be a great choice provided he wants to work with Baalke and Khan. I agree: That's a BIG "if."

Trades with only four characters left are always hard since your character can get eliminated. At the Final Five... this problem is prevalent from the start of the round.

Then it goes to 4 and... good luck with trades. Once it hits 3, there's really no point in trading anymore.

As a fellow Packers fan, I agree completely with Tear. You're also forgetting the part where he tried to talk potential free agents out of resigning with the Packers because he was mad and wanted to leave. That alone has made me hate him more than anything else he's done.

Forgot about that. I think by that point, I already had enough reasons to think he was distorted.

With the attitude you mention, I'm even more shocked at how amazing a year he's had. I'm very happy he's playing so well at the same time I think he's a total douchebag. Gotta wonder how Gutekunst will handle his prima donna ego trip after the season. I also wonder how much value Rodgers has lost over the past year.

Worth noting that I consider the male equivalent of the term "Karen" to be "Aaron" solely because of Rodgers' "But it's all about me!" attitude.

I really don't know what I'd rather have. Not sure if Loverboy is ready. We'll see how he does against the Lions. Rodgers wants to play, and I expect LaFleur to let him for a quarter or two just so he's not rusty when we come back from the bye. For the future, a lot depends who we can keep around... and if we can get a good QB from the draft if it becomes apparent that Love is not the answer.

Rodgers has been a documented asshole since 2018, the year he:
1. Demanded he have say in offensive personnel decisions after the Packers let his buddy Jordy Nelson go
2. Broke up with Olivia "to focus on football" (was rather controlling) only to start dating Danica a few months later
3. Started changing playcalls to make McCarthy look like the asshole, thus dividing the team in two
4. Once McCarthy was terminated for losing control of the team, Rodgers demanded he had some say in the hire of the new coach - in other words, his boss's boss's boss. Like what.

Then in 2019 he cheated on Danica with Shailene (and later married her secretly). And in 2021, he lied about his vaccination status (having gotten a "treatment" that only protected him for 24 hours, if that) and held the Packers hostage, enjoying the associated media circus. At least he was a good Jeopardy host even if he's a dick about it.

I am extremely happy that he's shown up to play his heart out consistently considering the circumstance but I would think there's an ulterior selfish motive, since I still don't trust him. He acts like he IS the entire team and therefore he should have control of everything. That's not MVP behavior. MVPs are team players. Rodgers is not. He has become distorted and his Palace needs to crumble.

Jonathan Taylor gets my vote.

I've only played three of these but FF7R was a masterpiece that reignited a genre that had been dissipating in recent memory. I'd say THAT is the best remake of all time, but I've yet to play RE2R.

Breath of the Wild is a good game but was highly overrated with its "game of the ever" branding; I'd say it's an 8/10.

Tales of the Abyss is a must-play even if you don't like JRPGs. It's incredibly polarizing but that's what makes it so good. Check eBay for that one.

Most of my recommendations would be JRPGs tbqh >_>
