Sadly, only had time/desire to put my mind to one listen.

I found each song pleasant to listen to in the moment, but found it hard to remember or distinguish most of them. It's a very even record and thus works well as an album, even if it suffers due to a lack of clear singles. In short, the songs are all good on their own but, when put together, fail to stand out from one another. I'd never heard of Fleet Foxes before, or at least didn't remember them, but I'd certainly say this is impressive but still very hard to rank.

1. I got a Beanie Baby from a raffle when my favorite pizza place opened a new location in 1998.
2. I got $5 from a scratch ticket my uncle put in my birthday card.
3. Kokoro's post reminded me of that one time I actually won a store Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and got some booster packs. I placed a few other times but I didn't have the money to win regularly, and me winning that once was a fluke.

Daughter was 14 y/o. That's the right time to get a kid a smartphone, since that's when the kid is going to be out and about enough to text for a ride or update the parents where their location.

I pay no heed to review scores but instead seek out the criticisms in them to see if anything would prevent me from enjoying a game.

All that said... I don't have money right now to order this as badly as I want it, and since it's Nintendo it won't see a price drop for three-plus years.

Apparently ESPN is suggesting the Cowboys fire McCarthy for Payton.

Uhh... if Payton is stepping away from the Saints, chances are near-zero that he'll want to coach a different team, especially so expediently.

RE: Rams/Bradys... I think the biggest reason why the Bradys lost was that they (and their fans) were too busy celebrating to realize that the game wasn't over yet, which allowed Stafford and Kupp to stick it to 'em.

I am unable to watch the Bills/Chiefs game. Been busy since the game ended and will be the rest of the night.

Which is why I understand that some people consider Packers fans "spoiled." But at the same time, we can't capitalize on it. I'd even take a Super Bowl loss at this point. We just keep showing that we're overhyped and that our record means nothing.

Yeah without Rodgers this division is a clown show. Packers D was awesome this year though but their salary cap issues are nuts so who knows. Something like 9-8 could win the division next year so I dont see why it couldnt be the Lions.

Rodgers is 75% of the "nuts" salary cap so if he A) retires to host a game show or sports broadcast, B) demands to be traded to whatever team he chooses, or C) restructures his contract into a one-year, "win or bust" sort of deal where he takes a huge pay cut since him and Shailene are rolling in the dough already, we've got a LOT of room to potentially re-sign everybody we need for one final push. That said we kinda need the demigod QB for that since Loverboy has shown that he can't play even a full half to save his life, and that trading up for him is the worst thing the Packers have done in the first round since passing on Barry Sanders for a bust of an O-lineman whose name I've forgotten. Sure, the Pack have made some first-round gaffes, but trading up for one takes the cake.

This next draft doesn't have much in the way of QB options, so if Rodgers doesn't restructure his deal for one last push, I'm expecting a 5-12 season that's going to be very hard to watch or care about, so I will probably find other things to do.

We shall see what he does. I hope there's a swift end to the story, regardless of what it is, so the media doesn't spend the entire summer spreading lies for ratings while Rodgers acts like the universe revolves around him again.

As a Packers fan myself, I too have only known Favre and Rodgers... and the consistent postseason heartbreak, especially against the 49ers. One could say I've been spoiled, but I'm not sure if I have. It gets aggravating to have "THE CAKE IS A LIE" pulled on me almost every dang season. All this talk about a championship and then we fall short of a Super Bowl. It's the same old song and dance.

I fear that the next decade or two will be what the 70s and 80s were like for the Pack: Many coaching changes and few playoff berths. And it's likely that people won't care anymore, because unlike back then, we have an Internet that helps us do many things that weren't available back then. Myself included. I was already getting to that point and Rodgers being a diva certainly didn't help. The narcissism makes me think that the reason we haven't been able to finish is that though his skills are ridiculous, his leadership is lacking. A sobering thought indeed.

Also, a lot of you are forgetting just how cold the weather was last night. That had a huge effect on how many points could be scored. It was the special teams that cost us 13 points. The 49ers offense wasn't getting anywhere, either.

This is not Rodgers' fault in the slightest. He actually played a decent game. So did Aaron Jones.

The special teams were a fucking trainwreck and the pass defense never managed to protect up the middle. Packers need to clean house with special teams coaches after that. Like... even I could do better than this shitshow.
