D:OS2 is really difficult at early stages. You dont have all your skills and enemies do and hit hard. But, it gets easier and easier as you go on. Eventually you start one shotting things.

All big companies cut hours. I worked at Walmart years ago for $10/h and 20 hours. If they could they'd pay us even less. You can not survive on $7.25. You can not buy food, pay rent, bills. Even $15 is the bare minimum to survive.
