Fuck them. They take the time to take out butt shots but they can' fix that ending.

Note I don't care about them changing that, just upset that they are spending time doing that when could make the ending better. But people will still buy it. So it why go the extra mile.

To be fair I doubt changing a camera angle in a dialog is a very time consuming thing.

There are still strippers, lapdances, and sex scenes at various points in the trilogy. Miranda still exists as a character. They can rotate the camera and make their own ass shots if they want them so bad.

Mass Effect is not "sex-free" though. The Miranda ass shots were silly and out of place. They aren't redoing the character to "desexualize" her or writing out all romance subplots.

I don't think games should be comedy-free, but that doesn't mean I want random slapstick thrown into a scene. Yakuza games have hilarious moments and attractive men and women, but I'd hate if a serious cutscene random became funny or sexy. Context matters.

Don't shake your head at me. Tell me I'm wrong. Tell me that we get mad when males have good asses is games because they're out of place. You can't. We look at male asses all the time because so many games have a behind-the-character fixed camera. Many of them are detailed, athletic posteriors. But it's only a sexual gaze when a female character has one.

As far as I know, Snake in Smash Bros. is the only example of a censored male ass. Censored female asses are plenty and this is one more for the list.

It was always jarring. People created mods to adjust the angles, that's how stupid it was. Imagine Miranda opening up to you, during an emotional moment, begging for help to assist in relocating her sister, only for it to cut to an ass shot.
