My prediction is that it lasts for 2 or 3 day streams then gets sent to the night time shadow realm then he'll quietly phase it out because I honestly think it's too much for him.

Earlier today he told chat not to spoil or handhold but we all know how that's gonna go. I can already hear him whining about all the dialogue and having to actually pay attention to conversation and his journal to know what to do with quests. Also the first 30 minute battle he trudges through and loses will be a peak salty moment.

Basically it was a viewer's choice from last year and he's been dodging it until now. It's also a very deep and kinda slow-paced RPG with a lot to it, it's pretty much everything Phil can't stand in games. It doesn't hold your hand, it has a lot of dialogue and reading and it has romance.

And even though combat is turnbased, it has a lot more depth to it than let's say Final Fantasy. Look up Phil's playthrough of Xcom Enemy Unknoen, you'll see his complete lack of foresight.

Yeah, the combat is very punishing if you don't plan or think ahead. I have a feeling Phil will struggle quite a bit. I love these games and it took me awhile to get a handle on it.

the enemies also don't respawn, and a lot of experience points come from just exploring and discovering new areas, so if he's just going to try to rush through, he's going to have an especially difficult time.

The entire thing was a complete joke, he said the story was interesting while in the character select. He has NEVER stalled this hard. He was reading everything out loud.

After 2.5 hours, he was still choosing his class.

He stopped playing to launch a tips investigation because streamlabs stopped working.

Lots of complaining about there being a narrator in DOS2, instead of it being animated. Shat on someone cheering him and explaining ehy the game is narrated.

STOPPED playing to reed a tweet about a company gling bankrupt and then going into detaol about that company. The amount of stalling is staggering.

He also had a small epiphany, saying: "oh, the red bar is the health bar." Is a gamer all his life, but only now realizes something extemely basic.

He has to look for a "throat clearing thief", can't help but laugh at the irony here. He then got.jumped by a homeless bum and was losing a 1v4 fight.

Chat was then hating the game (you know, the viewer's choice game, the game his chat WANTED to see him play), so Phil is laying the ground work for a ragequit.

The most disgusting thing about him is that money he has made is instantly gone and forgotten. Last weekend he did really well as far as tips go and the very next stream is it is like it nevwr happened.

He could make 500 dollars in one stream, but if he makes only 10 in the next it'll be slow, even thoughhe madr more than double for a day.

Phil.only exists right now, and it also shows in games. CoD is a great example of Phil lacking any object permanence or awareness. He always complains about people spawning behind him, but never realizes that people can flank him. If it isn't happening right in front of him, it isn't happening.

And he is exactly the same with money.
