Elephant in room.

Person with camera drops N bomb.

Either nobody cares because they assume she is black. Or they nervously lol at said comment.

Interesting.

Seriously though, what investments did you have @ImTheMacheteGuy that have diminished?

PS - Not conservative, don't think you're on welfare, homeless, etc. Do know that you are full of shit though.

Honestly, I'm talking mutual funds and I don't regularly check my statements. I was mostly shitposting. My mother asked if I had lost money (parents and all relatives on my mother's side all have stuff through the same group. All were started by my late grandparents) since trump and I said I hadn't checked. I haven't even looked at statement in 2018. She said she and my stepfather both lost money, so I assumed I did too. Again, I haven't checked. I don't monitor it closely because I'm not currently relying on it for anything. It's not a trust fund or anything and isn't enough for me to retire/live on, so I just the advisor people move stuff around or not. I've put some into a Roth IRA (I believe mostly cash from matured bonds? Idk, that's just gaining interest and I don't pay much attention to it). Most of the mutual fund stuff I think is in Coca-Cola. That's the best I can do when it comes to actual company information.

The through work thing, I don't pay attention to at all because the Roth IRA is far more substantial. The work one is like maybe 5% of my paycheck with the business matching it? Can't remember if 5% or 2%, I just went with whatever the maximum was that I was offered and since I knew it would be less significant the the IRA, I told them to handle it aggressively. The financial person, (I don't know if just a liason or someone handling the account directly) said (I think late last year?) yes, the economy was on the up because of trump due to consumer confidence (overall, certainly not locally) but that there would inevitably be a market correction. The Dow Jones dropping a bit (a few months ago I think it was) was indicative of this. I have no idea how much is actually in that fund. I just assumed it wouldn't catch up to the IRA for years, so I've just kinda ignored it. It's been at least 5 years since my employer started it though. Maybe I should actually look and see where it's at >_>.

That's the best I can do in terms of answering questions. Basically I was half-shitposting, assuming what I said to be true without bothering to verify it. I'm surprised as fuck that anyone actually cared to try and get more information from me. I'm honestly not sure what to think about that. I had expected to be overlooked and ignored.

Appreciate the honesty. Best of luck in your investments.

The value of my investments has diminished, in spite of trump supporters fellating trump over the economy, but this was predicted by a financial advisor so I saw it coming, and it's happened before. Not worried about it at all, but considering how much "but economy!" "but Dow Jones!" I kept hearing, it's worth mentioning.

What are your investments? Tesla and CNN?

That's pretty funny.

Also, fire your financial advisor that predicted your investments diminishing while the markets have soared from election day through today.

Like, immediately.

Seriously. Fire them.

She's through work. She is the secondary one. I don't have a sa. Also my primary one knows what's up too so you can shut the fuck up with your misguided nonsense. Sorry I'm not one of those "government teet-suckers" or homeless people you assume every non-conservative is :shrug emoticon:

Seriously - what are you invested in that Trump's policies are killing them, despite pretty much every stock, money market fund, investment fund, commodity, etc. going up steadily since his election?

Oh you didn't hear?

That was his "secondary one" "through work" that he can not fire. His "primary" one knows what's up too, though.

Honestly though the gas prices are probably the worst thing so far that is directly attributable to Trump and directly affecting me.

Death of Net Neutrality was congress.

Check the history of gas prices leading up to Memorial day.

https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-releases-2016-statistics-for-law-enforcement-officers-killed-and-assaulted-in-the-line-of-duty

In 2016, of the 57,180 officers assaulted while performing their duties, 28.9 percent were injured.

This is why, if you resist arrest, I believe the police have a long leash as to what is justified.

Just imagine for a second, if these were deemed "newsworthy".

Based on the 2016 numbers, you're talking over150 times every single day. A quarter of those serious enough to report injuries.

Think about the outrage you'd feel if you heard it every single day, that officers were assaulted at an alarming rate.

Why isn't that news?
