I'm feeling your hate now Muffin. It seems like every single day the detours I take to avoid the major construction projects have their own detours. Every day it's something else. That's MN for you though.

Just hoping the ramp from 62w to 169n is open next week because my detour exit at Gleason is closed starting 9/6.... Joy.

So I forgot my ramp was scheduled to be closed beginning today for construction. So I went over the bridge past the exit and saw there wasn't a single piece of equipment, roadwork, or even PEOPLE on the whole ramp. I had a very clear view and saw that there was nothing going on.

@Jaded_Dragon can you explain that? As to why they closed off the ramp without any semblance of work going on? I could literally see my entire route to go to the other highway and there was nobody or nothing there.



Here's a painting just FYI. Black line = my normal route, blue route = other cars coming from the other highway, thus showing there wasn't anything wrong with my 212 route itself, just the ramp was closed. Again, no workers, no equipment, no torn up concrete, nothing.

Haha, that project you're referring to affects me as well. They did the same thing 2 weeks ago when they repaved the opposite two ramps, which only took 5 days if I recall correctly. I assume they were closed today for surveying.
