| Arti 01/04/20 12:40:04 PM #7 | Deemo Reborn (PS4) I feel that this remake not only updated the graphics but also updated the story progression a lot better, as there are more songs to collect through the various puzzles and this helps grow the tree a lot faster, as new songs add more height to the tree on their first play. The story is mostly unchanged. However, though this game has (currently) unique songs in it, it loses all of V.K's tracks (like Wings of Piano and Reflection Mirror Night) and I'm not entirely sure why that is. I say currently because the tracks that were originally only in the Vita version were eventually patched into the mobile version, so I assume these will as well. Still worth a look if you want, but the Switch version is probably the definitive one. --- |

I think, overall, I like it more than any of the Zero Escape titles, which is surprising to me because I really liked VLR. The platinum only requires looking for hidden items in each Somnium, not making mistakes in shooting events (all QTEs) and interrogations, and then there's a few miscellaneous trophies for doing some extra tasks. and now I have Invincible Rainbow Arrow stuck in my head, great --- |

But considering how the Switch has produced some of the best Nintendo games in their respective series such as Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Three Houses, the fact that Sword and Shield is just another Pokemon game looks even worse because it should be a lot better than its predecessors. Also, since it sold really well like all Pokemon games it gives Game Freak no reason to change up anything. It sucks that we'll never get a truly great Pokemon game when this jump to the Switch should have been the time to do it. --- |
