yeah, probably

he gains about 60k HP, but his damage reduction is reduced by 20%

that's pretty big considering how much HP he has initially (over 400k)

This is not a very good VN. It doesn't really impact the BlazBlue storyline besides introducing Es and giving you some insight on some of the characters' ancestors. The only highlight is the gag scenario because it's hilarious, but it makes you play through all four routes and that's not much of a reward in the end.

Enough about that game, I finished Yakuza Kiwami's completion list yesterday and am well on my way to making that my next platinum after this one. Still a few challenges left to get through to get the platinum, though - not looking forward to the car chase on Legend difficulty.

I've never had an enemy take a party member hostage. I didn't know that was even a thing.

He took morgana hostage and demanded 5000 gold. I gave it to him and then the battle went back to normal. What a weird mechanic.

It's one of the dumbest trophies because it happens so rarely, even when the conditions are met.
