I don't drink enough for that to be a thing

There's not some magical line of amount of drinking that you have to cross before withdrawal becomes a thing. Everyone's different, but everyone suffers from withdrawal on some level when they quit. It may just be that your withdrawal, while relatively minor, is persistent. Some people might feel like absolute shit for 2 weeks and then it lets up, while others might just feel a bit groggy and irritable but it lasts for a month.

Master Chief is by far the more iconic character.

If you just showed a bunch of random people a picture of Doom Guy, the majority of them wouldn't be able to tell you what he's from. Even a good number of people who have actually played the Doom series. You almost never actually see the character you play as in Doom games.

Whereas Master Chief is fully realized and shown in cutscenes and advertising/media constantly.

Can we keep going endlessly in one direction or does it eventually loop around to the beginning?

It is physically impossible to reach the edge of our observable universe as we currently understand it. Because the universe is expanding, the edge of what we can observe is actually traveling away from us faster than light (and will eventually disappear from our perspective). Not because it is moving faster than light, but because new space is being "created" in between us. And the total amount of new space being created between us and the "edge" in a given length of time is greater than the distance light can travel in that same amount of time.

C. I love hot weather.

Let me put it this way:

How does your body respond to excessive heat? It sweats. And it's surprisingly efficient at removing heat via sweating. Just drink some water to stay hydrated.

How does your body respond to excessive cold? It constricts the blood vessels in your extremities and literally sacrifices pieces of itself to survive.

We are made for dealing with heat. We are definitely NOT made for dealing with cold.

The IOC needs to be fucking disbanded.

The IOC has nothing to do with the Norwegian women's controversy.

At a European beach handball event, Norways women refused to play in bikini bottoms and instead wanted to wear skin-tight shorts. They were fined for breaking clothing rules. The International Olympic Committee does not govern those kinds of rules for individual sports, but it does run OBS and controls the broadcast output from Tokyo shown to the world.

Try reading next time.

I clicked yes before I looked at the pic. That girl isn't my type, so no to her, but I don't have anything inherently against a girl being 19. If it's just a casual hookup, then it doesn't really matter as long as we're both into it.

I think I'd have a hard time finding a 19 year old who I really connected with on a relationship level, but I don't think it's impossible. I've known women in their 30's who act like teenagers, and I've known some in their late-teens/early-20's who act like they're retirement age.

No, they only took people who died before the war started. They were down to 500k people because they had been obliterated by the aliens, and anybody who had been killed by the aliens was not eligible to be drafted in the past.

Don't get me wrong, the movie wasn't great and there were tons of issues. That wasn't one of them, though.
