I am currently reading Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff. I just finished Something Wicked this way Comes, and before that Swan Song.

Another reason I prefer smaller venue shows, there is usually not a long period of time before the concert.

Is this a movie or a series?

I like the Caps and Devils who tend to be my east coast teams I generally go for.

As a Stars fan I actively dislike most of these teams. I picked the Kraken with maybe Edmonton being a close 2nd.

One is a good film, the other isn't. It is that simple.

I remember a friend of mine being so excited for the Matrix sequels saying it was out generations Star Wars. That didn't pan out, but I would say we got our generations Star Wars in the LotR movies.

Hulu is fine, I would get the ad free but I believe they are about to jack the price up on it so it would be a better deal to get the bundle with Disney+. The live tv is fine, I used it the last 2 years for football and hockey season. Although, very annoyingly, if you record a program it still makes you watch the ads when you watch it, you can't fast forward through them If you are looking for TV streaming, youtube TV is better. If you want Hulu and Disney+ and tv streaming, then adding live TV is cheaper with Hulu.

Agreed, love it. It runs pretty well on my ancient PC too.

There is a ton of great rock music out there, but radio and mainstream outlets don't play it. The modern rock stations play same played out generic stuff. Bands like All Them Witches, King Buffalo, 1000Mods, Elder, Graveyard should all get more attention. It is cool for me as I get to see them in smaller clubs, but sad that they are not more popular like I think they should be.

AMC+ is probably the worst one I have used.

Unpopular opinion, I enjoyed Blasphemous more than Hollow Knight. Looking forward to the sequel.

I will need to check some of these out. I love deckbuilding board/card games and do enjoy Slay the Spire. I haven't really played any other video game only deck builders. May favorite board game deck builders are Dominion, Clank and Dune Imperium.

I did some horror boxes, some good stuff in them, but also a lot of junk. We do have a bark box subscription for our dog.

There are a lot of great horror movies, so not sure about that initial comment. A24 generally does make great horror movies.

I can understand not liking it, but not even knowing what's happening? It's not a complicated plot. Are you one of those people who are always on their phones while watching shows then complain when you've lost the plot?

That was my thought too. The guy was in the hospital from the car accident. I thought the plot was pretty straightforward. Though I suppose some of the accents could be hard to understand, especially the bartender friend.

A couple of the early season 2 episodes are slow, but altogether it's my favorite season. Episode 6 is fucking amazing. Episode 7 is mind blowing. The end of the BOLO episode is agonizing. It has my favorite sequence in the show

I am due for a rewatch soon, I have been kind of wonder if season 2 will be better that way. I think it just had some pacing issues for me. It had its stand out moments for sure, and I remember really liking the end of the season.

Well, some other series that are kind of under-watched that are really good and worth a watch are The Leftovers and The Americans.

I enjoyed the start and the middle of season 1 but very end of season 1 was anti climatic. Does the rest of the seasons get better?

Season 2 was a bit of a step back in quality in my opinion. However, season 3 and 4 were both great, which in the end I think it is an amazing show well worth watching.

King Buffalo - Regenerator

I liked this season, but I can see why others didn't. Many episodes didn't really feel like Black Mirror but more like a horror anthology. I like horror anthologies, so it worked okay for me. I think I liked Loch Henry the best, the mom was great in that in a very disturbing way.

I've lost faith in Obsidian, and the fact that it's set in the Pillars of Eternity universe leaves me a bit meh on it.

It's the opposite for me, I was very happy to hear it was in the Pillars universe. I didn't want them to leave that lore behind.

When's the last time you heard about a well known big company trying to buy another company and it was actually stopped.

AON and Willis Towers Watson. DOJ sued to block the deal and they decided to terminate it.

I used to check it pretty much daily, it was heavily left leaning. After the 2016 election it was pretty right wing, but then it shifted more and more left and most of the righties left for the MAGA board. It wasn't a great place for actual political discussion, but that is pretty much true everywhere.

I have a greenworks, it works really well and is light. I have a small yard, so I have never had an issue with the battery dying while mowing. Edging tends to be the bigger pain if you don't have a good edger. I would get rid of my lawn outside of a small patch in the backyard if I was allowed to. It is a waste to have lawns in Texas when it gets so hot.
