Marvel set the stage with Captain America Winter Soldier, its possible to have a good movie with a Boy Scout as the protagonist. Just need to see how James Gunn adapts it into his universe, hes said a lot of good things about Allstar Superman and other premiere Supes stories, I think he gets it.

Its been alright. I think if you watched Clone Wars and Rebels you would like it more. I am not too fired up to watch the new episode each week, not like other shows like One Piece where I want to watch it all in one sitting.

If he expressed that he wants lose weight then maybe he just doesn't know what he has to do. He may be surprised at how little time he has to devote to working out and meal prepping. I know my hangup for a long time was that I had no idea what to do - or not to do - so I just... starved myself, or did lots of cardio while depriving myself of things I liked, what ever seemed to work in the short term, not thinking of the long term.

I learned that you don't have to live in the gym for 2-3 hours a day and eat nothing but boiled chicken breast and rice. You don't have to go to the gym at all actually. Get yourself a set of adjustable dumbbells and maybe a yoga mat and pullup bar and you're off to the races. You can eat quite a lot as long as you remain active. A caloric deficit is the key to losing weight, and how you achieve that is going to play a big part in how likely you are to continue losing weight and/or maintain your goal weight. If you starve yourself, you may drop weight fast, but you'll put it back on quickly from even the smallest cheat or increase in food unless you continue to deprive yourself. Then you obsess over the number on the scale and stress every time the number goes up, "but how could it? I've barely eaten?" Don't even pay attention to that number.

At the risk of sounding like a shill, I recommend Jeff Cavaliere on youtube, especially for beginners. He'll tell you literally all you need to know and give meal plans, work out plans, inspiration, what to do, how to do it, what not to do, and the reason why or why not for everything. He explains proper form for safety, how to engage the muscles, exercises to avoid because they are either not as effective or easier to injure yourself with, things you can do at home, etc. And all for free on youtube.

His video thumbnails are a little clickbaity, not gonna lie, but he doesn't bullshit you at all in the actual videos. The dude completely changed my life. It may not click right away, it doesn't for everybody. In fact it'll probably take a lot of studying of form and such things to really get it, and maybe even doing certain exercises multiple times before you even start feeling it work. But anybody can do it, you just have to really want it and cut the crap. Even if you don't want to be muscular or athletic, you can still apply the same advice to lose weight in general. It's not all advanced stuff, there's plenty for beginners as well.

Jeff Cavalier is great, he is just the OG of fitness youtube so he has made just about every possible fitness video 3 times already and needs clickbait. Hes got a lot of good info though. Jeff Nippard is another really good source, he gets more into the weeds of all the science and studies though, not really necessary for people just trying to lose weight.

If anything the show made him too charming and cool, he's a hopeless romantic loverboy idiot around women in the manga. I prefer the change though, Sanji's antics get really annoying and the loverboy trope has been done to death at this point, the show did a good job toning him down

I enjoyed Season 1 with Johnathan and Joseph, it seemed like a traditional "let's train our Harmon to defeat the big bad!" type show. Once stands are introduced in Stardust Crusaders though, every episode or two has just been "A new villain has shown up with this really random stand power, how will Joestar win??"

It was a good change of pace and worked well with the road trip theme of Stardust Crusaders, but in Diamond is Unbreakable I did start to get pretty tired of the basic premise of every episode by the end. At least Josuke was a really likeable protagonist and I liked the overall storyline w/ Kira, for once not a "I'm gonna end the world!" villain.

However I just started Golden Wind, and after 7 or so episodes I can tell it is quickly devolving into "A new stand user Mafioso has shown up, how will Giorno and company win??" I'm not sure I can slog through another 30 episodes of them beating 20 random stand users again, and then have them finally fight the mob boss in the final episode. Is this how Golden Wind and Stone Ocean play out? How about the rest of the manga arcs, the same crap?

Yeah I am kind of having to force myself to sit down and watch these episodes, they are a bit of a slog. Nothing like the One Piece show where I wanted to watch the entire thing in one sitting

I disagree, a big reason why Ahsoka and Mando season 3 ratings are down are because a large part of the fanbase see no reason to watch, it all just leads to Ben destroying the new Jedi order, Luke running away, and the First Order destroying the New Republic. These shows seem pointless.

Disney has announced a bunch of Star Wars movies but they haven't gotten one out of pre-production since 2018. No reason to think any movie they announce will actually happen at this point

It has been a long time since I read the Baroque Works arc, but do the marines do much there? I know Smoker is around Loguetown and was teased at the end. Not sure how I would feel if Coby and Helmeppo are shoehorned into all of Luffy's adventures, like running around Alabasta on their own made up side quests... I hope they can find a good balance. There is also some audience satisfaction to not seeing Coby for several episodes, a season or more, and then getting reunited with him.

Thank god, I am like 60 hours in already and have only done 2 of the 4 regional phenomena quests and have maybe 40% of the shrines. Also I have hardly touched The Depths so far ugh so much to do

My most recent mod was someone posted a topic about a police shooting that had just happened, and I posted a photo of the "Jump to Conclusions" mat from Office Space, just making a joke like "get your popcorn, here we go, everyone is either going to jump in and defend the shooting or jump in and blame the cops w/ no information" and I got another instant purgatory again.

Its a good 2 act movie, I wish they at least tried to make it somewhat of a standalone story though, it just feels so incomplete, like we only saw the first few episodes of a TV series. I am excited for the finale
