Would love a Ghost of Onyx movie where Kurt gets a ragtag team of youths and trains them to be awesome marines with lots of montages set to 90s pop songs.

They have a script written by Alex Garland (wrote 28 days later, Dredd, Sunshine, Ex Machina) from the 2000s which has been leaked, it is way better than the Halo show we got. Basically just covers the Halo CE game, with some Covenant focus and emphasis on Captain Keyes and other marines. They combine a few missions to save time too. It pretty much becomes a horror movie once the Flood is released.

It is also pretty wild that there was 0 crossover advertising or promotions or anything with the release of the Halo TV show and Halo Infinite. Microsoft and 343 are managing Halo so poorly, it is embarrassing.

I wanted an event where you unlock Silver Teams armors damn it. They all looked great.

Maybe theyll actually do something for season two. They were focused on making Infinite not suck and now that its actually a legitimately good game with lots of content they can do stuff like that

The oddest thing about Halo to me is the backstory.

You've got this authoritarian UNSC who literally kidnaps children and replaced them with dying clones so the parents think their kids have died. Most of these kids are treated horribly during their training and surgeries and they die. Master Chief and a handful of others are the survivors. This was done to fight rebels and they just happened to be the right thing at the right time when the Covenant war starts.

The games do absolutely nothing with this. That's an interesting story! The dilemma of this being worth the sacrifice just never comes up in the games.

Instead for whatever reason it's like it is just banned for Master Chief to ever kill other people. Even the beginning of Halo Reach quickly kills off the rebels so you don't have to fight them. You play as fascist super soldiers who are never used for fascism. I guess it comes with the territory of a series that has all of the interesting stuff as a backstory instead of the plot of the games.

Even the state of the world after Halo 3 could have been interesting. What does it look like when humans suddenly have to get along with aliens? Oh never mind. There's some new robot aliens to shoot so that doesn't matter. Oh now those robots don't matter because there's even more aliens who believe the same things as the original aliens...but they're even worse!

I'd love a Halo RPG where you play as an ONI spy or something. But nope.

Sure, but they don't have to stick to only 1 game per season. So long as they leave things out well, they can just pull from multiple games.

Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach had good characters and emotional scenes. The story of the fall of Reach, especially, would make a good show or movie

Absolutely! And for the slower moments they could've touched on some of them somehow leaving the UNSC and starting families or the fact that all the Spartan IIs were genetic freaks, outcasts towering over everyone. This is potentially great drama right there!
