He studies ancient texts, finding that that Force was first discovered by an ancient scholar named Jeorlukas. Sheev, now part robot, part clone, part ghost, part Porg, travels back in time space, finding himself in...1970s Earth! But Rei Skywalker (a clone of Rey Skywalker, played by Brie Larson) chases him back in time to stop him from killing Jeorlukas. However, they fail. Palpatine succeeds, and Jeorlukas never discovers the force, and the Jedi order is never born. But in twist of fate, it turns out that Jeorlukas is none other than George Lucas! And by killing him, Star Wawa is never created, and Palpatine erases himself from existence. A lot of his appeal, imo, is being the classic "wandering hero stumbles into the story and saves the day" kinda guy. Like they put a bunch of puzzles and sidequests in the game, only to tell you exactly how to solve them, which makes you wonder why they bothered putting them in the game at all.
