I hate them. They have to be the laziest pieces of merchandise I've ever seen. Literally all the same model but with different doodles and cheap clothing. AND THEN they charge so much for them.

They are great. Highly recommend.

You never have to worry about gas, the charge on most brands last plenty (unless you are trying to mow acres). Never had trouble cutting longer grass and it functions just like a regular lawnmower. And they are MUCH quieter than gas types.

Ryobi brand is good.

It 100% is being focused on by the media because it is generating clicks. There are a lot of people that want race division. Is it really surprising that there are people that prey on the weak and old alone at night in Harlem?

Women barely have to try while men have to put forth an enormous amount of effort to be competitive with other men (perfect pictures, work out regularly, stable job, height requirements, dog, etc.). It does happen and mastiffs are not that uncommon. They're actually rrasonably common as pets and from reputable breeders too. They're not labs or any of the really popular breeds, but they're certainly not exceptionally rare. Less people own my kind of cat than own mastiffs.

And I mean like literally a fraction as many.

I never said the problem wasn't with people. Who invented this breed of dog and continues to breed it? People. Who does dog legislation really affect? People.

If backyard breeding and dog fighting were controlled somehow I guarantee you there would be a huge drop of pit bulls in America and there would be way less dogs euthanized every year.

Thats not where the majority of pits come from though? And its definitely not where most decent people are getting them.

Pit bulls are the breed of choice for dog fighting in America. It isn't just "some". They vastly outnumber other dog breeds. And again it has nothing to do with "bite force".

Where do "decent people" get pit bulls? Are you imagining some large chain of ethical pit bull breeders? There are definitely some out there but how do you figure that is where a majority of pit bulls come from?

Apparently people are massively breeding a certain type of dog for fighting but there is no reason or physical advantage to those dogs. They just like how they look I guess. It isn't like they bet money either. /s

If you want an actual answer on what differentiates a pit bull it is that they were bred to not quit until whatever is dead (gameness). Now how is that gameness at all beneficial to regular society?

Again why does anyone care about making sure this breed that was bred for fighting exists? Do you personally just like how they look or are you projecting some kind of victim complex onto them?

I swear it is like some people are pretending these dogs are being genocided. They are dogs. They have no culture. They don't herd together in the wild. All they really care about is their immediately family and food. It wouldn't be cruel to stop breeding this dog. In fact it would be the opposite as so many shelters are filled with them and are forced to euthanize.

Pit bulls can be trained and be sweet but their existence seems to do more harm than good because of the amount of damage they are capable of. There are also such cases of dogs snapping despite whatever training they went through because of past traumatic experiences.

I don't think anything can realistically be done to get rid of the breed nor is it a common enough issue to care but I find it odd when people vehemently defend pit bulls as if the breed is some cultural group.

A dog is not going to be offended that people believe society is better off without it's breed. It has no concept of its breed. It is entirely a human made concept.

And if you actually care about the suffering of the dogs you'd probably wouldn't want them being massively bred+trained for fighting/aggression and then being put down in shelters for being unadoptable. Backyard breeding is the main problem but that will never be controlled enough.
