Nah, it still has a huge cult following, evidenced by the shared massive popularity of games like Undertale which draw heavy inspiration from it. Also evidenced by Nintendo making a big deal out of Earthbound coming to the Nintendo Switch online collection. I think it's the only new SNES game coming to the platform for the month, too.

It's not viable for everyone, therefore it's not viable for anyone.

Nobody said everyone sits at home. The key was keeping actually essential services open and paying a lot to compensate the few who have to do those jobs as well as regularly testing them (and isolating them as much as possible). The rest get paid enough to stay home and can have essentials delivered. Instead every business declared itself essential.

I see no amount in fairness of lockdowns where those fortunate enough to work remotely can sit safely in their homes while those, mostly of the lower class, keep their remote lifestyle viable. That's incredibly fucked up tbh.

Yeah, that's why those "lockdowns" weren't effective because they weren't real lockdowns. To actually lock down, the country needs to provide support for everyone instead of pushing things along for the sake of the market.

That's only because the less lethal ones tend to have more of an opportunity to spread. When a virus has a long incubation period, that mixes things up since it can spread a lot before it actually kills people.

I think that user was referring to HololiveCN referring to Canada (even though it'd be CA).

Hololive doesn't care if the talents stream outside of Hololive, they just can't outright say "I'm _____ from Hololive" when they're doing something else.

As for how they handle incidents, I think part of it is learning as they go along and part of it is what the circumstances are. They likely cared more about the Taiwan incident because they wanted to keep HololiveCN going. They decided it wasn't worth it a while after that, so if something like that happened again, they wouldn't even try to appease them, I'd think.

This will never make it to law. Too many businesses exist entirely to collect usage fees on digital transactions. The lobbying alone will kill this before it even hits draft form. If it DOES make it that far, it'll be written entirely by the folks at Visa to effectively railroad customers into having to pay those existing fees to a select few giant banks through regulation.

The control is too tantalizing for the fed to let them be blocked. Visa deals with credit and this wouldn't replace credit cards. You'd pay off your credit cards with this.

Seeing Kizuna AI, Mirai Akari, and Siro together brings me back to the old days of vtubers.
