FF5 makes sense, only because it was imported to us first as a fan translation (<3 DeJ@p), so that localization was "canon" with Butz. Then we finally got FF5 for real as a PSX port, with a different translation for things, and so people had different baselines and adopting to the "new" or "proper" name is cumbersome.

FFT suffers similar with Algus (PSX) or Algath (PSP).

Or, more famously, Aeris.

Never really heard of Tina before but I suspect it's the "reject Woosely, embrace direct translation" crew of smug, weeb purists.

Ran Windows 3.1. Had a 3.5", 5.25", and a magnetic tape drive which was a nifty cartridge halfway between a VHS tape and a walkman cassette which was a way to back up everything.

I mostly used it to make "art" in MS paint and sometimes played Solitaire, but also played some games like Kings Quest, X Wing, and Gorillas, a turn based game that was basically Scorched Earth but instead of being tanks we were Apes throwing Bananas.

They can sell their home and buy a new one (from someone who is also selling their home to buy a new one, etc).

only a small % of the population buys 1 home in all of their life and then proceeds to die there. Lots of people upgrade homes as they start families, or when the kids "leave the nest" as that extra space is now excessive. If you want to capitalize on this incentive, do it. If you don't, for whatever reason, then you don't.

~1.5x the combat party. Greater than 2x is only good if there are situations like multiple parties (Kefka's Tower, FF8's copy, etc).

This is enough to allow party members to come and go with the storyline. Personally I still tend to just pick my favorites and let everyone else ride the bench, so why bloat it up to double or more of the battle size when that's just more characters for me to neglect?

2x+1 is the median formula for if you smushed all of the top rated JRPGs together.

Of course.

"Country girl who noodles" is interchangeable with "girl who likes carpentry" and "girl who can do work on truck". These are masculine things, done by MANLY MEN! Ergo, you are attracted to masculine things. If you're into girls like that, you are therefore gay.

It's basically Schrdinger's Immigrant -- they're too lazy to work and consume resources, but they also take your job. Schrdinger's Country Girl is so masculine that liking one means you're gay, but she's also absolutely 100% female.

They're all gonna feel that way for you. Each is a cool little vignette which could be their own game with enough padding. Eventually you'll do all the stories in a mega man style, and then they'll all converge with the common threads as everyone meets up for the final chapter.

If you're one for story, highly suggest the robot/sci fi. If that doesn't hook you, call it. If you're more eager for gameplay, I'd go Feudal Japan Ninja or Prehistoric Caveman, then call it as you see fit.
