No, Ages had an actual story, time travel is more interesting than changing seasons (even if less original), and I like other little things better as well.

Granted, I may have initially been a bit tough on Seasons (which I did play first) since I was expected some huge nostalgic return to LA and didn't get it.

Yep, for that reason any level of over-ratedness it may have had has been cancelled out imo.

Not really "universally" praised, but this is my general overrated list, as in difference between consensus and my opinion. I also am more likely to consider it overrated if it's the type of game I would like.

I remember being confused over there being no toys of Log from Ren & Stimpy. The parody of toys and advertisements went over my head.

The first time I saw that I really they were making a real statement about finding fun in simple things.

It was kinda funny how Jordan Klepper sort of called him out for both-siderism later in the show, even if it was part of a bit.

Like I said on the TV board, that first segment was better than anything I ever saw from Trevor, at least from a comedy perspective.

Overall though Weekend Update has been the best part of the show in recent years, especially when they write each other's jokes.

I honestly don't understand the love for TNG. I mean, it's fine. I watched the original broadcast, and it could be hard to watch then. It's even harder to watch now. At least DS9 had a plot arc (yet another thing copied from B5). I'm not saying I'd kick TNG out of bed, I'm just saying it's really not the sacrosanct thing it's held out to be.

Are you talking about early TNG? Yes, I mean that's aged terribly. I think most of the series (especially later seasons) aged pretty well, even better than later series in some ways.

Bigger Star Trek fan, though I can admit the OT is better than anything in Star Trek

Anyway, I do think the idea of people finding it silly may be the one road block (case in point the post above mine, that vid might have hurt the odds), though I still think the reasons I mentioned to do it outweigh it.

How has this not been done. It has environmentalism, 90s nostalgia, and a superhero.

If were talking most memorable and colorful supporting party members, its very close between FFVI and Planescape Torment.

Overall deepest/most developed not sure. Xenogears sure, but that was top heavy. Maybe FFVI overall. Im sure some newer stuff too.

Crediting god with creating the universe doesn't really answer anything, just shifts the question from "where did the universe come from" to "where did god come from", and if you can conceive of a god that has no creator and has always existed, seems like you should be able to conceive of existence itself in the same way.

But the universe would still be confined by the limits of what we see as rational logic, God would not.

There is no way Perot didn't cause his loss lol. It's unheard of for an incumbent to lose that many fucking votes in a one-on-one. They dropped a failed incumbent for an independent.

A lot of that is because Bush did extremely well in 88, better than Obama in 08 in terms of percentage. It's been said that 1992 was the end of the Reagan Democrats, so those margins weren't happening anymore.

If you go with the idea Perot took 60-40 percentage wise, you end up with a margin around 50-48 for Clinton, which makes sense.

Even if Perot had taken more of Bush's side by the Election, it would have to have been by a huge margin. Clinton still won by quite a few points.

I generally think 2000 is the only modern election where a third party clearly determined the outcome. Perot in 92, Stein in 2016, and maybe even Jorgensen in 2020 have vague cases, but I'm not convinced.

I have a feeling it'll end up being Switzerland.
