I have nothing against her personally but I'm just sick of seeing her everywhere. It's too much. Seems like she's mentioned in the media every other day.

What I don't get is why the media has gotten so obsessed with her over the last two years even though she's been popular for more then a decade. What is it about the last two years that made the media say "OK, let's start reporting about every single thing she does, no matter how trivial"?

It seemed to really explode with the Ticketmaster controversy. Obviously she was huge before, but it feels like that was when she pulled way past anyone else.

I only hear about her on CE cause half this board wants to ram their Slim Jim in her.

Nope. I don't have an irrational hatred for her. And seeing her face or hearing her name is fine. I mean you probably hear Trump or Biden's names just as often. Who cares? And I still can't figure out why football fans get enraged by 1 minute of footage per game, of her in the audience.

I only ever hear about her on this board. Most people in the country I live in probably dont even know who she is.

Doesnt bother me. Its just weird how o b s e s s e d this board is with her, and it honestly feels like its a disingenuous obsession, like yall are just talking about her to be funny

The world tour showed a high level of demand. That lead to a lot of stories in general. Chances are you live in a state or country she'll eventually come through.

Then those stories are successful so they do more. And so on.

Dating Travis Kelce has also amped things up more than usual.

I think this would have to be her peak year surely. Like I've been thinking that several times in the last decade. But I don't think there's anything higher she can get to.

I've hated her since 2015 or whenever 1989 came out and have been disinterested in her since 2007 because she started in country music, which I hate.

I mean she's a positive role model, I think we want this generation of young women to look up to Taylor Swift and not Bhad Bhabie, plus it's kind of weird to hate on a true love story

I live in Kansas City, and feel like I don't hear about her unless it's someone complaining about hearing about her.

No, because I find her pretty easy to ignore, despite people talking about her all the time. Maybe it's because I don't have social media or whatever.

It's like people keep talking about her but not her music. I hear about her constantly but couldn't name a single song.

At this point it's pretty much a given that you'll see something about her whenever you go online. No point in being mad about it. Just accept it or give up the internet forever.
