We got through Trumps first term because Trump did not have loyal sycophants who were willing to ignore the constitution. Not because "we are a strong nation." Trump if anything else has put a spotlight on how shitty our guard rails really are.

This, there's a reason why he has a different VP and like over half of his cabinet and people around him at the time refuse to support him now. They put actual effort into making them actual games now, and with more focus on the characters so people will like them they can get more people to roll for them. Plus they get constant updates with more story content to go through, Genshin Impact has like 35 updates since it's release or something, is there any paid game that has 35 story DLCs or anywhere close to that? Even with the more fanservice games like Nikke or Blue Archive I'll still hear people say the story in those games is better than anything recent they've played

it also helps that you can sit down and play them for hours, but also easily just get in like 5-15 minute chunks in, if you only got a short amount of time to play it's easier to justify that then say boot up a playstation and a tv just to play Elden Ring for 5 minutes or something
