lol you don't need an earpiece for texting people! And also I think Tinder is a horrible dehumanizing time-sink, even when I am getting real dates out of it. But yeah, in my experience, you want to ask for a date within the first few hours of texting. Within the first day at the very most. If you're texting for multiple days, forget it, move on, it's a waste of time and the woman probably just wants a pen pal for the attention.

Don't let them drag out too long. Establish some basic interest, then just cut to the chase and ask for an in-person date. That's what works best for me.

I've only seen Dune and Don't Look Up so far. Don't Look Up was not very good and doesn't deserve the nomination. Dune was also kinda underwhelming. Pig and The Green Knight were both much better movies.

I'll probably try to see the rest of the Best Picture nominees. Drive My Car, Licorice Pizza, and Nightmare Alley were already on my to-watch list. The other categories have some potentially neat stuff jumbled in there as well, like The Tragedy of Macbeth and Flee. I didn't even know about these movies until today. I've been so out of the loop.

Honolulu was my worst experience. Almost missed a connecting flight because it took so long for my first flight to park and deplane. Had to literally run on foot through the airport because there was no available transportation between terminals. The whole airport is open air, and it was sweltering hot and humid that day, so I was drenched in sweat when I finally got to the gate. Maybe it would've been more tolerable with better weather, under a less stressful time-crunch, but man was it bad.

I usually have sex on the first date. Sometimes the second. If it hasn't happened by then, it basically means we're not compatible.

The end of season 2 is great. But the stretch between where you are now and the end is pretty lackluster. But you kinda need to watch it all for the end to make sense.

Season 3 is one of the best things to ever air on TV. But you need to finish season 2 for season 3 to make sense. It's worth it, in my opinion.

I definitely enjoyed it, but I don't know if I'd call it the best season. But I'm biased toward the second and third seasons because Helen's my favorite character.

And yeah, I kind of agree about the opening scene. I don't really care about the potential loss of suspense from flashforwards, but the fact that it's just a dangling plot thread right now feels unsatisfying. Like I wish it had been addressed again or resolved within this first half of the season. Maybe it will feel better when the second half gets released, if everything suddenly clicks into place. Hard to tell where they're really going with it.

Always liked it. Might actually be my favorite Tim Burton movie.

I loved it from the beginning. Still one of my favorite games.

They do absolutely nothing for me. But I think the whole "foot fetishes are gross" attitude is way overblown. I just find them to be a boring body part. If other people like them, it seems harmless and even pretty tame.

Don't tattoos on the sole of the foot wear off relatively quickly? Might be a good idea. It would naturally fade and you wouldn't have to get it removed.

Makes sense to me that she'd be popular! She has one of the best songs in the movie, she's heroic and positive without being a "boring good guy," she has a cool design, and she's very relatable. I can't think of too many women bodybuilder characters period, let alone women bodybuilders in kids' media.

I don't know about the marketing/merchandising stuff. But I wouldn't be surprised if she's a breakout character from the movie and Disney wasn't prepared for it. Reminds me of how Disney was shocked that Lion King was successful, because they thought nobody would care about a story with no humans.

Like I said, I'm transparent even with random hookups. Especially with those, actually. That's when I'll be blunt upfront. If I ask and someone hasn't been tested recently, or doesn't want to talk about it, then I won't pursue anything further. If I ask and someone lies to me about it, well, I guess I wouldn't know, but I always try to be honest, so I certainly wouldn't endorse potential dishonesty.

It's also about reciprocity if you're asking someone else to disclose test results that you refuse to disclose yourself. If nobody is asking anyone for any results, then that's different. Then it's fair. Also reckless, but fair.

If you're asking for your partners to get STD tested and disclose their status, but you're unwilling to do the same and disclose your own status, that's a bad double-standard. I'm in favor of regular testing, and being transparent even with random hookups.

That said, hopefully it all works out.
