Though my wife did ask a different nurse if she wanted to do a three way once. We (me and the other nurse) were very embarrassed. She was on drugs at the time (my wife, not the nurse).

Back in 2011-14 or so, while my wife was bed bound, we had a nurse that would come help me change her cathader etc. She was very pretty and I thought she was probably in her 20's. I at the time, was in my 40's.

We got along very well and I enjoyed her company when she came over, and eventually I discovered that she wasn't in her 20's, she wasn't in her 30's, she wasn't in her 40's, but she was actually old enough to be my mother lol.

She was almost 60....and she looked like she was freaking 20 it was crazy. She was asian/pacific islander heritage.

Anyway it's very possible that the above mom has never had work done, that the daughter is 20 something and the mom is 40 or even 50 something as crazy as that sounds.

I mean, if they made it, really with zero sugar, I don't think I could resist and I would just drink that 24/7.

I probably haven't made lasagna in two years, although I've sometimes ordered it and every now and again I'll have a freezer one when I really feel like it.

I hate riccota and cottage cheese so I pretty much can't get any frozen lasagnas or eat it at resteraunts. I use just mozzerella and parmessian on my lasagna (mix of both for the inside layer of cheese), Mozz only on the top.

I have not made lasagna in probably at least a year. Few reasons for that. It wasn't as good as it used to be the last few times I made it. I'm diabetic and dieting, and it makes my mouth mega dry the night after I eat it (so it's not really worth it).

Decided to make it anyway, see if I could get some of the old flavor back and figured I'd try eating earlier in the day (I woke up at 3pm so this is early for me) and see if that prevents the dry mouth at night thing.

Not gonna post pictures, but I do hope it's yummy. I still didn't go all out, just used prego with sausage and herbs as a base, added ground beef, mushrooms, green bell peppers and cooked the sauce for about an hour at 250. Should be a decent sauce but it's missing alot from my old sauces (no fresh sausage, no wine etc).

While I have been dieting the last year (lost about 60 pounds) I have found my....taste buds....are dying or something. I don't enjoy food as much, even steak. Pizza really holds no joy for me anymore (what is the point of life now!!?). Steak does not make me salivate. I am gonna go on a trip to the Bay Area in Feb and try some of my favorite places to eat (including the all meat burrito place on tennyson in hayward which I have dreamed of for years). If I don't crave that food and delight in it like I used to, i know I am a lost cause and food will no longer be a central motivation for me.

That is good in some ways as it makes it easier to diet, but as I have gotten older food has remained a staple joy for me and it will really suck if it stops being so important. I don't have many joys, things I look forward to anymore, and food has always been one of my primary drives.

If your account name was coorslight though 14 years ago, you were probably 21 or older then (I would imagine), which means your 35 or so now......I don't see how 16 can be over half your life.

To be fair i'm actually in bed 95% or more of the time lol, and most of the rest is just getting up and going to the rest room, showering etc, oh and making food or coffee. I just went out today in fact for the first time since around Dec 20th (because I was snowed in since the 24).

I can't sleep with clothes on, and since my comp is on my bed, ain't no reason for me to get dressed.

Air Fryers are GREAT at reheating pizza, but....it turns out they are also AMAZEBALLS at cooking the pizza in the first place (specifically pappa murphy's).

So here is the thing, I'm an older dude, on a diet and I can't eat a whole freaking papa murphy's pizza in one go. I used to cut it in half and heat up half the pizza then the other half the next day.

The air fryer though works well enough that i'd just cook the whole thing and then reheat it with the air fryer the next day, and it would taste just like new after 5 minutes or so.

But there was still a few annoyances even so. The cut in half would make the middle of the pizza over cooked and burnt kinda (even with the rest normal). That is why I would just cook the whole thing and air fry the rest).

But even air frying the rest, the cheese isn't quite as good reheated (not as flavorful).

But there is another method I found eventually, instead of cooking the whole pizza in the over following the instructions from pappa murphys, cook it in the air fryer instead, after cutting it to the exact amount (for me about 1/3 of the large sized pizza or 2 large slices basically) you want.

The air fryer cooks the whole thing evenly, doesn't burn the edges, and cooks it fully in 10 minutes, with a nice cooked crust (due to the air coming in from underneath) and melted/cooked toppings. It's perfect. You get exactly as much as you want to eat, and can put the other topping you want on fresh when you make the rest of the pizza.

I get the NY extra large pizza with pepporoni for $10. I add my own mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and salami to that. It's a delicious pizza, and it makes 3 meals for me for $10, each and every one totally fresh.

Super yum.

I am fully naked while home alone, which for the last few years has been like 99% of the time. I only have to do a laundry every month or so.

I always got the impression that Sunset Overdrive was trying to be the spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio, but it looked terrible and was exclusive to a console I had no interest in owning, so I never played it to see if my feeling was right.

It isn't anymore, it's on Xbox PC now (prob available for PC in other ways as well). I wasn't impressed by it though (also not sure if it's still on gamepass or not anymore).

So here is the deal for me. When I saw TNG and D29 I was in my 20's (maybe late teens for TNG I forget). I was def in my 20's for Ds9 though cause I was going to college.

I had watched the OT as a kid, and Kirk was pretty masculine over all. I ended up liking Picard over Kirk actually long term, but initially Picard was a bit foo foo for me, not very masculine or a strong captain (at least didn't feel that way at first).

Then you had Sisko, that dude had some rage issues lol, but he was also very masculine and in charge. He was more so even then Kirk in my opinion and I liked him the most.

You went from him to Janeway who was like some evanaglistic stick up the hiney captain who I didn't like at all (and i would have been so down for a strong female captain believe me). Sisko was the most like a Worf captain to me (and Worf was my favorite character."

The shows themselves also had a variety of good characters both TNG and Ds9 had multiple characters that I really liked, including the same characters in some cases. Even though they count as different shows, to me Ds9 continues TNG's story in some ways since you had characters carry over, so it just got better.

I still have seen the original star trek episodes more times then any other series, and remember individual episodes from it easier/better (trouble with tribbles and mudd etc). I also generally use saying/phrases from that show sometimes in real life, far more then TNG or Ds9 and I have not even seen every episode of either series more than once (while I have seen all episodes of the original show at least 3-4 times maybe more.)

That doesn't make the original my favorite, but it does mean it's had more legs over time.

Lol, first, you can use towels etc, still get some sand in places you don't want if it's windy etc, but it's not that bad.

Second you can do it where the sand is wet by where the tide is coming in. Even when you do get a bit sandy, the water washes it off.

Third if the girl is on top and the guy isn't wet from the ocean etc, you can get er done pretty well without sand getting in crazy places even without a towel

Yeah, no. Voyager is extremely inconsistent with several annoying characters. Then there's the first season or two, where they're tangling with some civilization that can only travel at like warp 5 max, yet somehow they keep popping up lol. They should've been an ep or two at max. Voyager could've been great, but they dropped the ball on it so bad.

Voyager was like if someone tried to make a serious version of red dwarf and failed miserably (at least to me) even had the holographic doctor I think. Didn't really even have 1 cast member I really liked. It had potential, but totally failed to catch my attention and keep it.

I'm down for some 4 PSO action, they have interchangable parts, so it's totally possible.

I mean if 5 has an interface that will work, I wouldn't say no, but I voted 4.

I don't know, but if so, it must be televised.

I was in no way age shaming, just stating that the age of people on this board is probably under 30 on average so they didn't see the shows when they originally aired. That is in no way age shaming lol.

The shows rocked when they were released. If you watch them now, even fans of the shows have a hard time (I started watching Ds9 again a year ago or so and gave up before too long).

Ain't nothing shameful about being young or old, I'm a X-man. I have no prob with millenials or Boomers, or Z's or Alphas or aliens for that matter (or immortals, although there can only be one).

I hate the stupid age war stuff they always do, but yeah, if you streamed Next Gen or Ds9 when you watched it for the first time, it's not at all the same as watching them when they aired.

I don't think those numbers are right. If you had that % for a whole month, that would mean in 1 month 1 in 11 people tested would be positive.

That may still not sound like alot, but it can take weeks to get over and a percentage of people have long term effects that don't end. In addition if you have 10% of the population get a virus within a month, you will eventually have the entire population test positive unless someone lives in an actual bubble.

If over a mill people tested positive in the US in 1 day, that is a big deal (don't think that actually happened though). That is especially true if they are including children (since there are only about 220 million adults in this country).

When does Star Trek in general get good? Because the only thing that I've ever seen come close to not being remotely boring are the three Abbrams movies.

Omg, I mean, the age of people on this board is showing I think. I was never a Trekkie like some of my friends but the original star trek was awesome for it's time and showed re-runs for decades afterwards (think you may still find it on some channels). TNG was also awesome, and while the first season took a bit to take off, it was amazing when it came out.

D29 was more divisive, with not everyone liking it, but some like me liked it even more then TNG.

Sadly for me it died after that. I tried with voyager but eventually gave it up, didn't even give Enterprise a shot until a few years ago and only watched a few episodes of it. Discovery was my first time getting back into the universe in decades, and I liked the first and second seasons...the third season was just meh though and I have not finished it.

I'm not a super fan of start trek, but to say that none of the series were ever good or popular is crazy.

Discoveries first season was the best I think, and actually pretty good. A 3.19 is silly low. It was certainly better then the first season of enterprise or Picard (by a huge margin).

I couldn't finish picard honestly, I got about halfway through, maybe it gets better but I highly doubt it. I don't know how it's anywhere NEAR the level of the other shows that actually kept going and had additional seasons.

Picard should be a 1.something.

Well actually once in a little cove/cave that would go under water when the tide was in as well....without a towel, but the sand was damp/hard. Was beautiful. Wish we had taken pictures (it was on the oregon coast).
