Unless they are my fam member, it doesn't affect me at all. I'm always sorry to hear of someone passing but unless they are related to me, it doesn't affect me in that way and at the end of the day, we're all heading in that direction some day because that's one door you can't get past and death much like drugs doesn't care who you are or how much money you have etc because it treats people the same way.

Had an aunt and uncle who had a farm that my aunt's (via marriage) family had had since the 1870s that was given to her family for free in a Homestead Act and it was passed down in her family so I spent time there as a kid and grew up around livestock.

Their kids now live on that land so it's been in the family for over 140 plus years at least and again that land was not purchased because my aunt's family received it in a Homestead Act. Her fam is from Ireland.

I only mentioned the Homestead Act part because some White people tend to think the Government never gave White people anything and that's simply not true. One of my uncles started a business that still stands today and he got the money from a GI Bill loan. He served in the Korean War so we need to understand that we have all been lied to and told that it's those people who want to live off the government tit and that's not true.

FDR's New Deal did the same thing in that it put wealth or at the least the chance to attain some wealth at the hands of White people in the 1930s and 1940s and now today people act as if they did something all on their own and that's simply not true.

Keep in mind Pizza Hut has changed hands over the years and most of the owners who came after the original owners only cared about profits not making great pizza. Same thing with Hostess. Their cup cakes used to be really good and then they went out of business and was bought by a hedge fund guy who came in changed the ingredients to cheaper ingredients and the qualify is not the same so I stopped buying Hostess products.

WTF does a hedge fund guy know about making cup cakes! These so called "holding companies" own a lot of America companies that used to make great products but now they're only interested in seeing profits to appease shareholders so they cut labor costs and production costs and use inferior materials and what you get is crap like Hostess tasting like it's made from rubber.

That's what I say about KFC. Growing up, KFC was really good and now it just seems they're only interested in making money. For pizza I only get it local from non chain places and the pizza is far better than mass produced chain pizza.

You are right because cart based games were expensive because Nintendo and Sega charged licensing fees which made the 8 and 16-bit games cost $59.99 if I remember correctly. When the CD based game consoles (Sega Saturn and PS1) came out, games were priced at $39.99 at least PS1 games were again if I recall correctly. I also remember some N64 games being priced at $70-$80 then Nintendo cut that price because no one was buying the games and Nintendo became incredibly stubborn in regards to making the change to disc games which is what cost them in the long run when Sony dropped the PS1 on CDs that ended Nintendo's stranglehold that they had held since the NES dropped.

Sega figured it out but the Saturn doomed them and by the time Dreamcast came around, it was all but over for Sega in the console biz.

I think it's BS personally because games going back to the NES, SNES, N64 (some N64 games) did retail at $70-$80 if I recall correctly but for the 8 and 16 bit era, games generally ran $60. Disc based games PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn etc usually went for around $40-$50 if I recall.

I doubt that'll happen! Jesus Christ himself can't save Trump from what he's about to face as a "private citizen". Some people cannot accept reality. The fact is ever since passage of the Voting Rights Act allowing Black people the right to vote, Whites especially Southern Whites began a backlash to that because for the first time that Jim Crow stranglehold that racist Southern Dems had held on the South since the end of the Civil War was now being threatened because those politicians knew Black people who were the victims of those Jim Crow laws would not vote for them so they knew things were about to change.

At the same time, Richard Nixon began recruiting disgruntled Southern Dems into the GOP in what is known as the "Southern Strategy" with the intent being from then on campaigns and elections would be run not on the issues but on race and that's what we are dealing with.

The Southern Strategy is an electoral strategy used to increase support of Southern White voters by appealing to racism against Black people. And it works brilliantly sadly.
