I've been exposed three times so far this year because I had the bright idea of taking in my dipshit nephew while he's going to college. He caught it a little over a month ago. I ended up getting tested myself but the morons at the testing place must've dumped my test in the trash because I never got my results even after pestering them every day for about 10 days. Eventually I just said fuck it because the quarantine period was over.

Sure but very few things in life are foolproof and whether its malice or accident there's a very good possibility of someone fucking up along the way. It may not be malicious, but I also wouldn't be surprised if there were some malicious actors involved giving the polarity of the election. I think its a good idea to do an audit of each of the battleground states for that reason. At least those couple that are within a percentage point or so.

I would prefer the Donald not win but I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch. People are dumb and every system has flaws.

There is no realistic path for Trump.

We also don't have a record of this many mail-in ballots either. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a significant amount of double counting for people that mail in and then go to the polls thinking their mail in wasn't going to count. There's also his lawsuits which may or may not get some votes thrown out but that's gonna be a long shot.

Odyssey was alright but this is essentially what every Ubisoft game is now. A big open world where you collect flowers and pelts and shit to craft quivers and do pointless sidequests and spend a lot of time traveling form A - B. Not to mention the stories being a heinous mess. I hate games with loot tables where every two minutes you're getting a new weapon or piece of armor and more so that difficulty is ostensibly attached to leveling and weapons/armor. And difficulty nearly always results in "bigger health pool so just keep shooting or swinging until its dead. No difference in the way you play the game. I just find it all to be length padding bullshit that makes it unfun.

The char animations are different than the last two, so is the equipment system. You get runes and slotted gear for them in this one. It almost feels like it isnt an AC game. Theres dismemberment, too. There are three bows, each with their own ammo type, you get a shield again, and theres a stamina bar. Also, you have to pick and eat berries/vegetation to heal. The controls will take some getting used to as they are much different than the last two games. I think youll like it.

Sounds like they turned it into a standard Ubishit game

I have the Note 20 Ultra after my Note 8 or whatever died. Its fine. Personally I don't see any significant improvements over my old phone other than the camera being better and being annoyed that the fingerprint scanner went from being on the back to the front.

Now though, I've been back at work for a year and have a decent amount of money saved up. Not a lot at all by normal standards, but it's a lot for me. I've been considering giving it another try.

Oh that's right I remember that weirdo. Yeah he was a shitbag from the way you described him. Don't pair up with the first person you find. From my experience, most therapists understand that the first meeting is just to make sure you're a fit for each other. Most of them didn't even charge me for that introductory session.

Also I might suggest finding a woman. I don't know if it's good or bad for you but maybe it'd help.

Im really not sure how they've done it so badly. I'm not a dataman but it seems like it'd be fairly simple to categorize products under certain flags like 'food' 'commodity' whatever to differentiate the things that are consistent buys vs things that are a one time purchase. Then you just have the algorithm prioritize items in the consistent purchases and only show that to the customer.

Could even have a separate trigger for wishlist/shopping cart items to show suggestions as well.

Real talk though, have you ever considered or been able to see a decent therapist? I know you're not exactly the most well off financially but if you could make it work through whatever you have, I think that could go a long way toward helping your well being.

I had a phone interview a couple weeks ago and bombed it. I never knnow what to say for the question "Why do you want to work for X company?". I also don't know what to ask when they ask if I have any questions. It's not really a "I'm not interested". Its a shame. It looks like a good game but I feel honor bound to not buy anything from EA. I might consider it if/when I get VR but like I said it may not be worth even picking up at that point. I had a similar experience with Titanfall. It looked cool but I didn't wanna buy it for a number of reasons at full price. Ended up getting it for cheap on some sale a year or two later and it was completely dead.

I wish more developers would focus on the single player experience so at least I'll have something for replay if I ever find myself wanting to revisit it.

The electoral college works because the point of the federal government was never meant to have all the power. It was really only supposed to act as a figurehead as well as fulfill some responsibilities that apply to the country as a whole like defense and the treasury. But we've allowed the fed to continue to gain more power making the office of the president more powerful than it ever should have been. We literally built a government based upon the idea that having one ruler living thousands of miles away was a bad thing.

State governments in contrast are, to my knowledge, entirely popular vote from the Governor to judges to your local sheriff. Your local issues could be addressed by your local government and your opinion as a citizen meant more and your voice could and should be heard by your representatives. We would then elect representatives by popular vote that would go on to represent our interest in federal matters. That's how it's supposed to work.

The Fed was never meant to represent the 'will of the people' but the will of its constituent states which are elected and represented by the will of its people. I don't need the president to represent me in my day to day life. In fact, I really don't need him to represent me in anything but going and talking to foreign leaders. That should really be his only job.

The tyranny of the majority is a bad thing and it is a thing. The founding fathers didn't want that so they built a government in which the tyranny of the majority (or any tyranny from a federal government) was something that should be extremely hard to achieve.

Why people continue to advocate for giving power to the fed when you have someone like Donald in power will continue to baffle me. Take power away from those dipshits in Washington and give it back to your state.

It's next to impossible for a tie to occur - I think its only happened a couple times in US history but the house votes for the Pres and the Senate votes for the Vice Pres. Theoretically we could have something like a Biden Pres and a Pence Vice Pres.

The amount of people on one side willing to do violence on the other side is an incredibly low percentage. And disregarding that - when people realize they would have to give up their relatively cushy lifestyle they'll quickly realize they ain't into it.

Pretty easy to call for rebellion when you have a big mac in one hand and an iphone in the other.

Im giving it to Washington. As far as I know, he's the only president to never want the job and he only did it because the country needed him. He refused more power when it was offered to him and he was of course instrumental in the creation of the country. In retrospect, he like many others, had faults of the time but he was unanimously elected and had the love of the people. From what I understand he was also very conscientious of objections to his rule and made efforts to bridge division among congress, his staff, etc. He also was very committed to being neutral as a country which I think is a good think (mostly).

I haven't regularly gotten a flu shot for a number of years. I get sick incredibly rarely - I think the last time I had the flu was something like 14 years ago. I also live alone so I'm not really worried about tracking it to anyone in my family and I'm smart enough to stay home if I have symptoms.

Plus I work from home now cause covid anyway so I likely won't get one unless I really feel compelled to. Historically I've only ever really gotten it if they brought them to my office.
