I do not think many people would say they are Eurasian. Origins are more cultural than physical places on a map. The culturally defined parts of the world have that connection, not the actual continents. That kinda is the problem, its current "definition" (if it even has one) is different from what it started out as. Originally it was just Symphony of the Night and its successors, as those were CastleVANIAs that incorporated progression elements from METROID. Which in the most simplified form means the original definition would be something like "game akin to Symphony of the Night, only problem is that phrase is highly subjective. I think in the original trilogy they just had magic powers and what set them apart was how they chose to use them. The movies tend to hammer really hard on what is good, neutral or evil. It genuinely is a good mystery book and in some ways focusses more on the psyche of the main character, than the war he is getting himself involved in. Vader POVs also really got me to understand the character better, even if he is still all sorts of confusing.
