I agree. If my cousin dies, I will literally say "he was a piece of shit, good riddance". So you can look forward to that if I outlive him and this place still exists so I can report back.

They should've just launched it on PC and the new consoles and delayed the "last gen" ports indefinitely before cancelling them. Worked for MKX's 360/PS3 versions.

As long as it's grounded in science of the non-pseudo and non-biblical varieties, I think it's a topic worth tackling.

The 90s X-Men show was awesome. The early 00s Wolverine and the X-Men show was too. I am sad a second season didn't get made.

You can look at people and know they're trashy sometimes. There was a dude on Judge Judy that wore a sleeveless sweater vest and no shirt under it, with a big gold chain. It wasn't a twist when you found he had unpaid child support.

The craziest thing I remember seeing once (not by my house) was when this cop had a semi-truck stopped. I was in a parking lot within earshot of it. I head this yelling and turn to look. I dunno why the guy in the truck was stopped, but he was super belligerent. He kept yelling at the cop and refusing to comply. I could hear bits and pieces but not totally make out everything. I did hear the truck driver yell something like "what if I just drive away?!" while leaning out the window. The cops stands in front of his truck, and the dude goes back inside and puts it in gear to run the cop over. Understandably, threatened with death, the cop puts his hand on his gun and the truck driver sees this and immediately yells, louder than anything else so far "nononononono!!!!" and puts the truck in park again. He then got outta the truck and submitted to an arrest. I went to have something to eat and when I came back there was a special tow truck there to haul the truck away.

The amount of kids that will think they were bad because there's no PS5 under the tree is gonna be overwhelmingly large.

MGSV and it's not even close. Skyrim is the most lowest-common denominator game that's not sports or a cinematic experience from Sony. GTAV is nothing special, but it's still better than Skyrim. Morrowind was peak TES, Oblivion was mostly good, especially Shivering Isles, but Skyrim?!?! Really?!

My only criticism of Doom Eternal was that they dropped the awesome MP from 2016 for some dumb-ass asymmetrical thing nobody ever likes. Was Evolve and all the things that failed after it not enough of a red flag?

I tapped out during season 13. 12 was still pretty good, but I think it should've been the last.

The problem is that for so long peoples' allegations were swept under the rug that it went from that extreme to "guilty until proven innocent", which isn't any better. But its the result the system sowed for years of ignoring blatant problems.

For the sake of the child, I'd only have one. It gets all the stuff and attention without some fucking other douche sabotaging its life constantly. The only downside is that it'll probably think other kids are idiots.

That's exactly the thing. You gotta lock your devices you don't want them doing things on. You're the parent. Kid-proofing is your job when they're little. Give them their own and don't put any means to spend money on it. If they wanna buy stuff, they can go get a Play Store card from a shop. Everywhere sells them.

You'd think telling someone to wear a mask (which is to their benefit and the community at large) was like telling them eat a pile of dog poop. The level of entitlement is awful. It was probably always there, but rather than "shut the fuck up and like it" being the community's response to the rebellious at heart, everyone just puts their head in the sand and thinks judgmental thoughts.

Yeah, that's a good point. I totally forgot about that. But she would've had to literally go in and disable that.

And the point of "her kid just took it" doesn't hold water for me, when she obviously lets the kid use it anyways. It wasn't likely some calculated heist to finally use mom's iPad for the first time ever.

Yeah, but it's not pre-destined. I mean if there's someone with unreasonably unattainable standards (relative to their looks or situation) or they're just a super terrible person, I can see it. Hell, or they're just quietly sitting at home and waiting for a relationship to appear... As others have pointed out, you have control over your own life to an extent and gotta put in the work to make your situation different.

I remember going into this store and seeing this Chris Farley looking dude simping on this girl that was at worst a 9/10, objectively. She was always nice to him, but any time I went in there for this span of a few months, there he was. Anyone in their right mind would know that's not gonna happen. Regardless of how nice he may have been, she could get someone equally friendly that was also hot. His lack of self-awareness had to have been astronomical. Respect for trying, but I mean... come on. For all we know, he could very well have moved on and found somebody more his style, or maybe he became a bitter incel. No clue. But I use that story to illustrate that a big roadblock a lot people face isn't a lack of opportunity, it's a lack of comprehension of their own situation. If he'd worked out, gotten a better haircut, and didn't dress like some boring dad, maybe he would've had a shot.

Her being ignorant isn't Apple's fault. She's just pissed off that she's out the money and to accept personal responsibility for yourself and your kids isn't how the 21st century works. Yeah, she made a mistake and was negligent, but these horror stories have been making the rounds for years and anyone that thinks having payment info on a device their child uses is acceptable is a moron. They need to mark microtransactions as predatory and regulate the hell out of it, but still, it's not like the mom is some boomer granny.

Only I use my phone, but I set it to require a password to spend money just as a "think about this one more time before committing" roadblock.

Skyrim is a common game for common people. Cyberpunk won't have the same broad appeal despite deserving it.

Nah. I never really went. I wanna buy that X-Men vs. SF Arcade1UP thing though, but I have spent way too much money on useless stuff this year to be even close to being able to justify the buy.

The worst is when you find something so good that you can eat it all the time and still never get sick of it, but then it goes off the market.

RIP:
Sombreros - "mini pizzas" but they were a cornbread crust with taco toppings (spicy beef, cheddar, onions, peppers, etc).
Hostess Buffalo Wings chips - every other damn company forgets the chicken flavor and makes nasty buffalo sauce chips.
Marks & Spencer spring onion crisps - onion chips in general are awesome and tend to not last.
Tostitos Quesadilla chips - Tostitos rounds with this delicious, spicy and slightly cheesy flavor.

Epic Movie was the worst movie of all time. Some are so bad they're good... it's so bad it's unwatchable under any and all circumstances. It probably caused many deaths.

I feel like I got the only working copy... All I've seen is one moment where some dudes spawned on the sidewalk clipping through each other. Beyond that, it has been great.

4-5 hours sucks, but it's doable. 12? Ugh... Brutal. Even worse when it'd a redeye.

Depends what you plan to play it on. OG Xbox One and PS4 have frame rates in the teens and twenties and crash a lot, they sound unplayable. So you gotta have current gen consoles or an acceptable PC if you want it to actually work. It's a pretty good game, better than anything Bethesda has made since Morrowind or Oblivion, TBH. It def has New Vegas vibes (Obsidian aren't hacks, so that's a good thing).

Overall though, I'd recommend Immortals more. It's Breath of the Wild with DMC combat and just a great time. I can't believe Ubisoft made it.

I don't really care, tbh. I mostly find Mediterranean, Germanic, and Korean girls to be the prettiest, but there are good looking women in virtually any group. Some it's a majority, some you gotta kinda dig, but at the end of the day who they are matters the more than anything. You don't want some disagreeable Karen or some dumbass that believes magic crystals and Himalayan salt actually do anything.
