Yes thats all true. And also I didn't mention the worst part is around last call I get flooded with mcdonalds orders, and since there are so many mcdonalds in the city, it's pretty much a guarantee that a mcdonalds order isn't going to be a big delivery fare. And at night, the lobby isn't open so you gotta get the order from the drive thru, and late at night the drive thru lane is PACKED so you're going to be waiting a very long time just to get to the window, and then they tell you its not ready and so now you're waiting even longer just to bring it down the road just for a couple of bucks for an hour of your time and gas.

That's not really anyone's fault but it still blows my mind that drivers put up with it. I dont see how they make any money off of it, I wasn't exactly reeling in tips from it either. It just highlights how shit of a job it is. If it paid a little more then maybe I could see it

UberEats doesn't mess up your order, the store does. The driver doesn't place the order, the system does when you input it, and the driver simply says "I'm here to pick up for ______" and then they hand you the bag. Oftentimes the bag is sealed so you can't really check for accuracy. And even if it isn't sealed there is frequently no way to check. For example when I did UberEats a lot of places didn't even itemize the order on the Uber App. It would just say "Big Mac Combo Meal" but it wouldn't say what kind of drink they had, how they want it dressed, etc.

Now granted, this was a long time ago. It wouldn't surprise me if they updated it a lot so what I'm saying may be outdated. But I straight up quit doing deliveries and exclusively did passenger rides with Uber after a while because doing deliveries is a waste of time as a driver. When I went to pick something up, I would always have to wait for the food to be ready (especially at mcdonalds, my disdain for that place grew exponentially when I did ubereats). Sometimes even up to 30 minute wait times, and you don't get paid for wait time. That's just time that youre sitting there making nothing. Then finally when I pick it up, the address is like just down the block for a whopping $2-3 fare. Minimum passenger rides (even just down the road) in my city is like $4 mind you, no such thing on deliveries (and if there was, it was very low).

I could do multiple small drives or a decent long ride in the time it took me to do an average delivery for like 5x the fare, so eventually I said fuck ubereats, only passengers from now on. I honestly don't know how drivers put up with that crap.

I will say this, a lot of the countries people say we should emulate are more white than the US and far (FAR) less populated and also have been around longer as a nation than the US has. The US has many problems. No need to get twisted about that. But I also do see the US potential. We as a nation, especially among our younger ones that are being emboldened right now, need to see that. And I think we will, I believe in this country. I've seen many citizens stand up for whats right this year.

It does. It's a fun trap for first time players since they don't know what's in the lake. If Leon shoots the water, the fish pops up and eats him whole in a matter of seconds.

Hey man I'd do the same thing. Wouldn't that be some kind of great gift to just stumble upon a psyclocibin shroom? But afaik no psychs glow in the dark lol. But its still a great display of nature's beauty.

Also @So_Hajile I take back everything I said previously about RE4. I don't know what it was that made the game click with me, because for so long it was kind of meh. I think it was the boss fight where you had to keep dodging until you got to the barrels to knock them over and shoot the dude. But I was really on edge for that battle, something I hadn't really been the entire game til that point. And after that I was locked into the game and they kept the tension going too, it was awesome. I'm actually replaying it now, knowing what I know and how to actually play and what to buy from the merchant, I realize I was kinda harsh on the beginning as well. Its a great game, just a very sudden departure from the previous games that I guess it was a system shock and also a lot of modern games have expanded on what it did, so the novelty isn't a factor for first time players anymore. But it is a great game, I really do appreciate it for what it is now.

Most schools I know of are doing the online thing. I'm not a parent but if I was id probably see if I can home school them until it blows over. The actual academic knowledge can be learned on the internet these days with free resources, let's just be real here. Like even in a hypothetical scenario where none of these sexual allegations are coming forth, its still a huge problem that so many of these kids in their early teens are having hotel parties and getting hammered with people in their 20s and 30s. There definitely needs to be some changes made to protect and supervise minors instead of just letting them run willy nilly with grown ass adults and sharing hotel rooms with them and shit, like how has that gone on for so long with nobody saying anything?
