That would be funny if no matter what people order, he just brings them chili dogs. I kind of want to do this.

How so? this article is a year old but most of it still applies, although its made even worse now since for most restaurants delivery is the only option https://thedigitalrestaurant.com/food-delivery-service-apps-problem-for-restaurants/amp/ in summary delivery apps are basically ripping everyone off, jacking up prices on customers, not paying drivers so they rely on tips, charging exorbitant fees of restaurants who may not even have agreed to being on the site in the first place, all while passing the buck of any negative experience to the restaurants, who dont even get the benefit of building a relationship with their customers you should always try ordering directly from the restaurant, doing pickup instead of delivery if possible (assuming you care about keeping the restaurants you enjoy in business) --- The words of The Golden Eel have been revealed... Yeah the menus are often wrong online, the reciept for the driver often doesnt list everything so they cant properly check orders.
Also no ability to tip the restaurant workers doesnt help employees care either. --- My Mario Maker 2 Maker ID is J2K-RFD-K4G Even In sigs FOE! http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/665/328/d75.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!

Not an option if no car is available nowadays.i would recommend checking if EatStreet is available in your area it has some of the same problems but from what I understand they are less bad for restaurants and work more closely with them for pricing/menu accuracy they also actually employ their delivery drivers rather than being a gig job like UberEats they arent available everywhere tho --- The words of The Golden Eel have been revealed... UberEats doesn't mess up your order, the store does. The driver doesn't place the order, the system does when you input it, and the driver simply says "I'm here to pick up for ______" and then they hand you the bag. Oftentimes the bag is sealed so you can't really check for accuracy. And even if it isn't sealed there is frequently no way to check. For example when I did UberEats a lot of places didn't even itemize the order on the Uber App. It would just say "Big Mac Combo Meal" but it wouldn't say what kind of drink they had, how they want it dressed, etc.
Now granted, this was a long time ago. It wouldn't surprise me if they updated it a lot so what I'm saying may be outdated. But I straight up quit doing deliveries and exclusively did passenger rides with Uber after a while because doing deliveries is a waste of time as a driver. When I went to pick something up, I would always have to wait for the food to be ready (especially at mcdonalds, my disdain for that place grew exponentially when I did ubereats). Sometimes even up to 30 minute wait times, and you don't get paid for wait time. That's just time that youre sitting there making nothing. Then finally when I pick it up, the address is like just down the block for a whopping $2-3 fare. Minimum passenger rides (even just down the road) in my city is like $4 mind you, no such thing on deliveries (and if there was, it was very low). I could do multiple small drives or a decent long ride in the time it took me to do an average delivery for like 5x the fare, so eventually I said fuck ubereats, only passengers from now on. I honestly don't know how drivers put up with that crap. --- https://imgur.com/TFF3Nn8 Joe Burrow, the legend ... Copied to Clipboard!

They just pull available menu information. since theres that middleman between the restaurant and consumer, if they are out of something they cant easily contact the customer to update or confirm and a restaurant doesnt necessarily have the man power to specifically time delivery orders to be ready at a certain time, and with tiny margins anyway its not worth it for them to improve that --- The words of The Golden Eel have been revealed... Tbh these are mostly failures of the app, not the restaurant, and thats another problem with the apps Yes thats all true. And also I didn't mention the worst part is around last call I get flooded with mcdonalds orders, and since there are so many mcdonalds in the city, it's pretty much a guarantee that a mcdonalds order isn't going to be a big delivery fare. And at night, the lobby isn't open so you gotta get the order from the drive thru, and late at night the drive thru lane is PACKED so you're going to be waiting a very long time just to get to the window, and then they tell you its not ready and so now you're waiting even longer just to bring it down the road just for a couple of bucks for an hour of your time and gas. That's not really anyone's fault but it still blows my mind that drivers put up with it. I dont see how they make any money off of it, I wasn't exactly reeling in tips from it either. It just highlights how shit of a job it is. If it paid a little more then maybe I could see it --- https://imgur.com/TFF3Nn8 Joe Burrow, the legend ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've gotten more and less than I paid for because it wasn't labeled by name; but numbers and the Driver doesn't take the time to make sure it's 756 and not 765. Restaurants do it too; but you can't put the blame entirely on them. Edit: The app does suck though, I had assumed for a long time they had you get multiple orders from the same place; Turns out they might have you go to multiple places for multiple types of food before (or even during) delivery. That makes it much easier for the Driver to get confused. If they have 3 McDonalds orders, and after the first get 2 more from Denny's they might be a little fuzzier on the McDonalds orders after finally getting to them. Usually they're good about it, but anytime they have messed up thats the issue I had. --- By Odin's beard! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Is this for postmate or ubereats? Because on Ubereats its always by name. Postmates. But it's usually Asian places that do numbers. Panda Express, Thai places (lost of them, I always order from a different place because im trying to find "the best"), Golden China (Las Vegas). I stopped using UberEats when they randomly decided I was a restaurant and wasn't allowed to order food with it. it's connected to my phone number though, so.. I literally can't use the account. Thats why I hate UberEats lol --- By Odin's beard! ... Copied to Clipboard!
